Comfy Shankill Stay

Very clean and close to city centre. Bus stop right outside, CO-OP and takeaways close by. Neighbourhood was v quiet. Washing machine in house was appreciated.

It was extremely loud, next to the main road, the other people staying were rude and loud throughout the night, alarms kept going off unsure if it was fire alarm or what but it was loud and extremely disturbing

Excellent location and great place depending on what you’re looking for

We loved the location. The option to have laundry facilities and cooking was amazing especially as we did a trip around Ireland.

The floors are very thin. We were there for St. Patrick’s day and one of the couples came in at midnight and smashed into our door and woke us up because they were so drunk. Not a property problem other than being able to hear them throwing up from a floor below them.

had all the facilities of a home. which was nice. Bathroom, big kitchen, big room. Not bad over all. cheap and chearful.

The walls must be made of cardboard. I could hear everything in everyone elses rooms through the walls and celling. Very noisy house, creeky floors till late and early morning. made it hard to sleep.

It was really well located and in a more local area. Very comfortable, and they were so nice and helpful. The room had lots of space and TV with Netflix, etc., the bathroom was clean and easy to use, and there was a kitchen for use which made it feel quite homey.

Some of the guests were quite loud and up until very late. Once the individuals left, it was better, but it did take away from it a bit. This is not the fault of the B&B however. All the other guests were very respectful and nice.

The area and the lay out of the place,and loved the bathroom.

The beds could be better made alot of noise when moving, not very thick. I've got a bad back and flat everything. So if they got nice thick beds like priemia inn that be great. And the radiator came on at night and was very hot.

Recommend! Everything was perfect, you had everything you needed. Was close to town centre, buses and taxis within 5 min walk. The supermarket was just across the road.. parking space on front and even though it was shared house it was very quiet . Everything was very clean, very nice cleaning lady :) if the garden was maintained a bit better I would give 10/10.

Located in an interesting area. A clean room and spacious shared kitchen. Shared bathroom was also ok. Thumbs up for the good Wi-Fi connection. I am glad that I booked it ☺️. You don‘t meet anyone in person when checking in but that went very smooth and easy.

I liked everything but, since it is a normal townhouse, the quality of your stay will depend on the manners of the other guests.

Exceptional

Good location a short walk or bus trip from the city, large clean kitchen and bathroom. We stayed in room 1 downstairs and the room was huge! The downstairs toilet was great as well so we didn’t have to go upstairs first thing in the morning. Great wifi. Kitchen had access to coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil - everything you’d need to prepare your own meals. Good communication from the host. Also, the bathroom seems to be newly renovated and was spotlessly clean! Don’t worry about previous reviews of the shower- it was hot! I was a bit worried but these reviews may be out of date? Loved our stay!

The upstairs floorboards are a bit squeaky which we could hear in our bedroom, however it’s a quiet stay so no one was up late walking around. It didn’t affect our sleep or mornings during our stay.
