Large Room Near City Centre

Very attentive host, messaged during the stay to check all was good and if I was happy with the room. As the property name suggests it's very spacious, clean comfy bed, the bathroom was literally next door. Facilities available were useful, tea coffee sugar milk kettle microwave all much appreciated.

Room got cold late on, thermostat on wall didn't seem to make any difference but time of year would affect how important that is. I wasn't totally clear if other people staying were sharing the kitchen, the key opens the door to the kitchen, so there was another guest. Was not an issue but it wasn't clear in booking.com's description. There is then a combo lock on the bedroom door once inside the kitchen area.

Fantastic experience

Clean

Location was 👌

Not a thing

The bed was super comfortable and the room was quite spacious, and the bus stop was right outside the flat, just a little down the road, so it was quite accessible. Everything in the bedroom was clean and the tv was good. It was nice that there was some snacks and stuff laid out.

No access to the kitchen was previously discussed, however I still went to look around to make sure nothing dodgy was going on in the flat as my girlfriend can get quite worried. The state of the kitchen was quite disgusting and it didn’t even look cleaned up for the arrival of guests. Even though we had no access to it, I still think it would have been reasonable since it’s the first thing you see upon arrival. I also think it’s quite odd that the other guests in room B were allowed access to the kitchen all throughout the night but I received a message telling me that I couldn’t go in (they have security cameras up). On the topic of the other tenants, this place needs to be advertised as child friendly as they had a baby that was crying throughout the night. There was an odd smell in the flat but fortunately not in the room. The living room is the next thing you see as you enter the flat which is directly to the left. There was a massive covering and it was a little off putting. I don’t like that the name is “grand central stays” when this is clearly just a room in someone’s flat, and shouldn’t be advertised as a luxury hotel. The water in the snacks area was also horrible tasting, as if it had been in there for a few days, and the room didn’t have a bin.
