We did not like the fact that there was no cell phone service in your hotel or around the hotel we could not communicate with our business or anybody in Pennsylvania. It was very difficult. It was horrible. Actually we were told that there was no AT&T or Verizon towers in the area when they built your hotel Therefore, we had a very difficult time using our cell phones which was awful and probably will not stay at your hotel again because of that problem.

I was impressed it was excellent from the moment I checked in until I checked out. I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel and location. You will thank me after.

Location and amenities

The housekeeping is terrible, they do not change out the bedding for guests. This is a fact and I have no problem with letting guests know. I had to stay at this location to be closer to my own home that was not livable at the time. At first they (staff members) were kind but nothing like you would get at the other Marriott hotels. The issues really began once I began to ask for my room to be cleaned. Change my sheets after a few days? I had asked the front desk in the chat the prior evening. I was going to be out all day the next day and so housekeeping had plenty of time to do it. My room had been cleaned up by myself and all I asked was for the trash to be taken out and new clean bedding. My trash had been taken out and sat right by my door to make it that much easier to clean. Nothing was done and this was day 4 of my stay. I did not complain at first until I actually paid 2 housekeepers tips on Xmas day to again remove the garbage and please leave me clean sheets I’ll even put them on. Well of course it was not done. I went to let the front desk know and I was told it’s because they didn’t know English. I told the staff really that’s not true because I gave them both a 20$ tip and their English was just fine. Also, I asked whoever was on the chat last night to make sure that they were to get to my room the next day and no language barrier was present. The manager was never around when I asked for him/her. O was there for maybe a month off and on. Mostly bc it’s a newer hotel and is cleaner as of now compared to the rest of west Broward. Give this place a year and it will have the same amount of nastiness as the other west Broward hotels. The floors are never cleaned, pillows and sheets not even changed if a guest checks out. Very sad, I know it’s a 2Star but the Marriott as a brand would be ashamed of the staff members. They don’t even wear their name tags and they rarely greet the guests.

Everything was perfect. It was clean, beautiful, staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and the bed was heavenly!

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property

There were little boys hockey teams filling the hotel. Notice of this ahead of check in time would have been nice. They ran through the hallways yelling, pushed us into elevators, flooded the breakfast bar making it impossible for us to go, and were EVERYWHERE! Also, after finally getting to sleep when the yelling stopped, a fire alarm went off at 6am due to someone burning breakfast.

Clean comfortable and very quiet. Room was excellent. Breakfast was very good also. Overall great stay!!

Room was spacious and clean. Shower was exceptional. Two tvs were a great bonus and sizeable. Free breakfast was nice and accessible. I enjoyed the refrigerator, microwave, and free breakfast.

Originally was given a room not advertised on Priceline. Manager moved us to new room as advertised. That room was roomy and fantastic. Couch was stiff and uncomfortable. Toilet paper was cheap and not to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Location was close to food and other places to visit.

En la primera estancia nos acomodaron tres noches al lado de la puerta que da al parking lot, toda la noche personas entrando y saliendo no nos dejaron dormir. Pedimos cambio de habitación y se negaron. Luego de esto teníamos una segunda estancia reservada, nos prometieron que íbamos a tener un buen descanso sin embargo de nuevo mucho ruido en la habitación que nos asignaron y cuando pedimos a la mujer en recepción nos reacomodara nos maltrató y tuvimos miedo de que nos sacara del hotel a esa hora (era media noche), una persona muy agresiva. Luego de eso decidimos salir y entrar solo por la puerta de atrás pues le teníamos miedo de que la recepcionista cancelara nuestra estadía. During our first stay, we were placed for three nights in a room right next to the door leading to the parking lot. All night long, people were coming and going, and we couldn’t sleep. We asked to change rooms, but our request was denied. After that, we had a second stay already booked. They promised we would get a good rest, but once again, there was a lot of noise in the room we were assigned. When we asked the woman at the front desk to move us, she treated us badly, and we were afraid she would kick us out of the hotel at that hour (it was midnight). She was very aggressive. After that, we decided to only go in and out through the back door because we were afraid the receptionist might cancel our stay.

Hotel ist noch sehr neu, daher entsprechend modern eingerichtet. Insgesamt sehr sauber, keine negativen Gerüche, neue Betten. Kostenlose und ausreichend vorhandene Parkplätze. Sehr ruhige Lage in einem grünen Wohnumfeld mit angrenzendem Golfplatz. Kleines, aber gut ausgestattetes Gym. Der Pool ist nicht allzu groß, aber noch ausreichend. Das Frühstück ist typisch amerikanisch etwas überschaubar, aber eben normal hier. Die Zimmer und Bäder haben eine gute Größe. Ein Restaurant ist nebenan im Golfclub ( normale Preise). Gutes und stabiles WLAN. Kleiner Arbeitsplatz mit PC und Drucker in der Lobby verfügbar. 13 Min. Fahrtzeit nach Sawgrass Mills, 20 Min. zum Strand, nach Miami je nach Tageszeit und Ziel 35-50 Min.

Wenn es überhaupt etwas Negatives zu sagen gibt, dann dass die Sonne ab ca. 15.30 Uhr nicht mehr auf den Poolbereich scheint (Oktober) und es wenig Spannendes in der direkten Umgebung ( zu Fuß) gibt.
