The apartment was very clean and well tended to. Great location with easy access to beach walks . The property is situated in a lovely old style building and rooms are spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great communication with host. Great value for money .

Was very clean

Nothing really major. It did lack a few things like no shower gel. Curtains in the bedroom were hanging off, they need re threading onto the hooks. No parking available near, was approximately 5 minutes walk away. Was approximately 40 mins walk to the open air arena.

The bed was comfortable, the self catering kitchen to prepare meals was well equipped , tea and coffee provided was a nice touch, good communication from hosts and easy self check in and out., with all instructions clear and in advance to get the keys. The view onto the neighbours back garden is really nice with all their lovely plants and flowers. The location is close to some nice charity shops, a Sainsbury’s local is round the corner and it is not far from the South Bay, with lovely walks past beautiful historic buildings and the Scarborough Spa.

The location was a good 20-25 minute walk to the South Bay, which was a little bit further out from the centre if you don’t have a car and maybe would not be great to do in bad weather. There are a few hills, so worth noting if you have mobility issues. The apartment is situation on a main through road, so I noticed the traffic early in the morning. A couple of minor points, there was no shower gel provided in the bathroom or dish cloth only a sponge in the kitchen., which would have made the stay more comfortable and homely. In terms of housekeeping, on arrival there were a couple of hairs left on the bathroom sink and a cotton bud by the side of the bed. Which had been missed from the previous stay. The curtains in the bedroom need a little bit of attention as they are hook and eye and a couple of the hooks have come off the eyes/ track. The main living room would benefit from a half net privacy curtain as I felt overlooked by the neighbouring house below.

The place was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Instructions for check in and checkout was clear. Place was easily accessible.
