Lovey accommodation, great view and lovely staff

The apartment was lovely and spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was served by a lovely lady but tbh all of the staff were very helpful.

We had an issue with the main door key but it was resolved really quickly.

Really lovely accommodation. A short walk from the centre so very quiet and calm.

Receptionist was very helpful. Free parking was sorted and facilities were explained. We arrived earlier than anticipated and, luckily, the accommodation was ready for us

The adjoining hotel where we had to collect our keys and where the facilities were located is currently closed to the public so we had to buzz in each time

Disappointed

The penthouse was clean. It's big. It as a lift to it. Plenty parking payable at reception. Sea View. Quite

Sofa tied. You have to walk in to hotel and down to a tied pool. Sauna was not working staff said temperamental said report it in week no good to us. Hot tub got switched off so only went pool not so good. On day departure we spent 20 min traying get someone to open door hand key in. Christmas tree was very small in apartment. Would go again no.

Pleasant/ enjoyable stay with family

The Red Lea apartment was a pleasant experience & exceptionally clean which is so important to us with a few nice surprises. Also lovely area/ close to the cliff lift.

Nothing we didn’t like. Maybe a bigger TV would be more enjoyable for a family to watch a movie.

Lovely accommodation in a central location with friendly staff and great facilities

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Central but quiet location, apartment was spacious and extremely clean and tidy. Great facilities. Pool, sauna and hot tub we enjoyed. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking available at a reasonable price outside the property.

The cold water tap in kitchen never really ran cold always warm. The settees although large weren’t the most comfortable the seat pads not very supportive. The bedroom had a fire escape type door with a blind covering it with a four storey drop directly out of the door. We are assuming this door no longer opens but think it needs blocking off completely or bricking up. Only minor issues. Overall great accommodation and we did enjoy our stay very much.

Guest in another apartment was very loud and threatening on phone in the middle of the night but that is no fault of the apartment owners, pool and spa could do with some tlc, sweaky floorboard in bathroom

Nice apartment not good neighbour who lives there and watch out for local drug users coming in for a rest on the hallway

Lovely big apartment for 2 adults and a teenager

Drug user laid out in hallway on our return from an evening out must have been around 9 pm. Had to call police as no one at the hotel to help. My daughter was frightened. Every night what sounded like a drunken man and his dogs kept us awake at night shouting at his barking dogs. Not great for the amount of money spent. He wasn’t staying at the hotel he obviously lived in the apartment next door.

Wholesome weekend by the sea

It literally had everything we needed, parking outside, easy to get to, pool access and hot tub access was lovely (wished we’d used it more) Absolutely spotless, really spacious and really comfy and quiet. Lovely touch of the cakes and milk. Thank you

Large comfortable apartment

Good location, just across the road from the cliff lift down to sea front. everything you needed in the apartment. Nice that there were products in the bathroom, tea and coffee, small milk on arrival and lovely cake. Washing up liquid and tea towel cleaning cloth which was a great help. Not far from a small Sainsbury’s. Was a large apartment, good sized bedrooms, plenty storage and good that there was a twin bedroom.

It was extremely hot in the twin bedroom, had to keep window open. Really need to think about putting in a shower. It was dicey getting in and out of bath for shower. The nightly cost of taking a dog with us I think was a very costly, ok if your just staying a night or two, but when you stay for 5 and paying every night it’s over the top. Not once did anyone come in to clean, even give us a change of towels.

Lovely comfortable , clean week away

Apartment was very clean and lots of room , staff friendly and helpful. Amazing views of sea at the end of the road, lovely gardens opposite. 5 minute walk from pub , corner shops and takeaways. Pool facility's dated but clean .

We couldn't use main hotel for restaurant/ bar on a night time because they have contractors staying in hotel. Fans needed in rooms apartment very hot .

An exceptional property

Very clean, use of pool, sauna, hot tub and gym was a great benefit. Quiet. Breakfast in the adjoining hotel was lovely. Very friendly staff. Nice touch to have a welcome pack of muffins, milk, squash, tea, and coffee. Fresh towels for the pool were good. 5 mins walk to food shop and takeaway pizza. Local church does amazing lunches during week too 5 mins walk away. On street parking easy with £5 parking permit from reception. Dogs are welcome.

A bathroom with no window meant it was difficult to air the room. But with so many positives, I'm being rather picky!!I

Beautiful, modern property right on the cliff top.

Well maintained, very clean and modern. Easy to find and permits available for street parking.

The property was excellent. The only downside, if we had to choose one, would be not being able to use the lift and having to go outside to access the pool area downstairs.

Very good size for 4 people, clean and everything you need for self catering. In a great location near to spa.

The windows only had slated blinds that didn’t block out daylight and the street lighting. Putting curtains in the bedrooms would be a good option. Also apartment needs a full length mirror somewhere.

Great family stay in Scarborough

The location was great, lovely walk into Scarborough. The apartment was spacious and facilities in the main hotel were great.

Lack of curtains and/or black out blinds. It was very bright in the mornings which woke us up. Having curtains would have helps suppress the seagull noises. Also it was very warm and the windows opened up from the bottom, which we couldn’t leave open due to having a small child.

Fantastic property and location. Incredibly well equipped kitchen and homely touches too. Gym and pool were lovely and kept my teenagers busy. Staff made us feel very welcome.

Could do with another sofa as only one small two seater. Lack of wi-fi - password given to us but unable to connect at all in the apartment.

Lovely apartment, great value for money, perfect location.

The size of the rooms are great, everything included for a self catering break, tea coffee & milk provided. Location is brilliant & even a partial sea view from the lounge. Spa facilities in the hotel next door were applicable to our stay & accessible via a lift right outside our door.

If i had to find a fault it would be the twin bedroom. For me it lacked comfort & felt a little unfinished. If being a twin is for the purpose of being family friendly then the size of that space could easily take a double & a single bed, this would offer a dual purpose space. (We were two couples sharing the whole apartment). Plug sockets beside the bedhead instead of at the bottom would be better & maybe a tv or radio. We’r creatures of habit i guess but not having these things didnt hinder our stay & we would definitely book again.

Great apartment.

The apartment was exactly as described. Pleasantly surprised that we got daily room service and tea/coffee making facilities. Beds were comfortable and everything felt clean. Can't believe there is an actual lift to your apartment, that's amazing!

The pool wasn't quite as flash as it looked in the photos, it seemed warm on Saturday but was freezing on Sunday. Sauna and jacuzzi were lovely but not sure what would have been like at peak time. Floor is a bit squeaky so hope the ground floor didn't find us too annoying walking around!

Basic but nice

Location, staff, quietness.

Kitchen was poorly equiped with very few dishes or utensils for even the most basic food prep. There was a very wobbly kitchen tap and a dirty oven tray in the oven. Room for improvement!
