Light and spacious property. All the facilities you need. Comfortable

Wet towels left in tumble dryer. Handrail on stairs missing thus somewhat difficult for elderly family members to get up the steep stairs. Quite noisy at night.

Chesterton

Easy location, good parking, spacious property. Ideal for longer stays. Very clean, would recommend highly to other persons as long as able to access stairs.

Not suitable for disabled, hand rail was not acceptable as stairs were narrow and steep. No tea and coffee or t towels. Bedding needed ironing. Needed a few more welcoming touches.

Good overall and spacious, but WIFI must be fixed.

Apmt is quite large, comfortable, and has a working washing machine and dryer which was very welcome. Kitchen has basic pots, pans, plates etc for cooking. Working oven and microwave oven.

The WIFI was constantly dropping out and slow, which made it very difficult to get work done. I raised this several times during my stay but nothing was done. They said it was affecting the area but I stayed a week and this was a recurrent problem. Also, the WIFI only works upstairs for bedrooms and TV, but not downstairs in kitchen and living room which is also a problem. It should cover the whole property. The appmt is a bit noisy as on the high street (bedrooms).

The laundry room with detergent was handy with kids and the beds were comfortable

Overall it felt like poor tired student digs. The best thing about the place was the location

Location.

Very poor. There was only the tinniest bit of toilet paper in each bathroom with no spares. The bed sheets had been changed but there were dirty sheets were in the cupboard. Dirty dishes in the cupboard 4 of us staying & there was only 3 coffee cups. The dirty mop bucket was just outside the patio door and the hoover just in the kitchen. Very old thread bare towels and not enough. No tea towels. I could go on.

The location suited us very well. The house was well appointed with everything we needed supplied. There was plenty of hot water si we could all co.fortably shower

A good choice for Cambridge

The home is close to the centre of Cambridge, easy to reach and although there is no parking at the property, there is free parking near the property. The property owner is quick to respond to any questions and communication is easy. We recommend this property.

Calm and relaxing place which was immaculate. Very spacious bedrooms and every mod con.

The location was perfect for me - near relatives. Immaculate, with comfy beds. It felt calm and relaxing.,. An oasis! I would definitely like to rent again.

Couple of things needed sorting by the owner. ( (Wet laundry in tumble drier and smoke alarm covered up with plastic). Was sorted very quickly. Some tv channels didn’t work. No private parking. Quite noisy with traffic ( but I’m used to rural living!)

Exceptional

Lovely renovated property with all modern facilities. Lovely walk into Cambridge along the river. Or the Bus stop beside the property gets you into centre in under 10 minutes for £2. Hope to return again. Fans in the bedroom were appreciated as the weather was very warm.

The property can be noisy due to passing traffic. Unfortunately the Host has no control over this.

House was very hot, couldn’t find a fan to cool the rooms down. Opened the window and the traffic was extremely loud!

molto carino, potrebbe diventare super

si tratta di una piccola casa (dunque non appartamento ma casa indipendente su due livelli), con accesso indipendente, due piani e un piccolo giardino. la casa è comoda e confortevole, ha due camere da letto per un totale di 5 posti, una toilette al piano inferiore e un bagno completo al piano superiore, una zona living con divano e tv al piano superiore e una sala da pranzo/cucina con divano al piano d'ingresso. non c'èun parcheggio riservato, ma le strade nei paraggi offrono moltissime possibilità di parcheggiare, ed è facile caricare a scaricare la macchina. l'accesso è semplice cpon chiavi nella box. proprio sotto casa ci sono un piccolo minimarket (ma un supermercato piu grande è nelle vicinanza) e un pub, che dall'esterno sembra molto frequentato e ha anche un giardino. la casa ha un arredamento super-essenziale ma sufficiente per un breve soggiorno. alcuni piccoli e semplici miglioramenti (vedi sezione "suggerimenti") la renderebbero una super location ma purtroppo si capisce che la proprieà si accontenta di mantenerla come una location comoda e nulla più. peccato. come zona, non so per i mezzi pubblici, ma in auto ci vogliono circa 10 minuti per arrivare al centro di Cambridge, dove purtroppo i parcheggi sono carissimi (oltre 5 eur/ora). inoltre vorrei segnalare che i gestori sono stati gentilissimi, permettendoci di rimanere un'ora oltre l'orario di cehck inm che per noi faceva una grande differenza.

come detto sopra, basterebbero davvero pochi e semplicissimi aggiornamenti per rendere questa da una semplice "casa" un super-location. quali? 1. IMPORTANTE: pentole sono ok, piatti sono sufficienti, ma posate sono striminzite, e non sufficienti per 4(o peggio 5) persone, dunque devono essere risistemate 2. giardino: c'è un piccolo giardino privato molto carino, con uno striminzito tavolino e due piccole sedioline, basterebbe aggiungere due sedie (anche tenendole dentro) e magari un tavolo un po piu grande e sarebbe un magnifico giardino 3. pulizia: la casa E' pulita in superficie; non è pulita e manutenuta "nel profondo": divano polveroso, bordi delle finestre cosi cosi, in generale una aria di incuria che prescinde dalla pulizia quotidiana. come già detto, per un soggiorno breve va bene ma sarebbe quel tocco che potrebbe esaltare questa location 4. quartiere: non è un quartiere "brutto" o pericoloso, ma non è nemmeno beverly hills, è cosi cosi diciamo
