Great location, excellent value for money, central to where needed to be, very tastefully renovated. All added extras were much appreciated- bottled water, tea coffee, number of towels.

Great location and overall really good apartment

Overall, an amazing location and apartment. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Cambridge from a truly central base. The apartment is very close to amenities (just across the road) and public transport. Everyone in our group travelled from different parts of the UK using public transport, and it took us all only around 10–15 minutes to walk from the main transport links. The apartment itself was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. For a short stay, it really was a little gem. We especially liked the internal taxi booking system, which was a great touch. The complimentary bottles of water in each room and the biscuits were small but thoughtful extras that made the stay feel more considerate.

The only downside was some noise from the neighbours above, as the apartment is on the ground floor. We could hear walking and singing, which continued until around midnight. This may be something to consider if you are a light sleeper. As it was just people having a good time 🌃 it wasn't enough to make complaint

This ground floor flat was perfect for us (family of five) during our short-term stay in Cambridge over the Christmas period. The apartment was crystal clean, with quality linens and beds, very well heated, two bathrooms, a good size living area / kitchen and a garden. Easy chech-in & check-out. We will come back without hésitation for a longer stay.

Comfortable flat, if only there were less furniture

Great location, appreciate the quality furnishings (eg Egyptian cotton bedlinen, thick towels), newness of the fittings/furniture and use of well-equipped kitchenette.

The one bed on top floor, some of it under the eaves is quite cramped, but this would be greatly helped if some furniture was removed eg the 1 metre wide coffee table (which is in addition to a dining table), the massive arching standing lamp and 3 of the 5 dining chairs. It's way too much furniture for an apartment with maximum occupancy of 3 people!

A great location for exploring the area. Satisfactory accommodation

We booked 2 apartments. The executive flat was lovely with 2 bathrooms and apart from poor siting of plugs/mirrors, was well equipped. Located on the vibrant Mill Road we had a great choice of places to eat and found it easy to walk into the centre. We appreciated the supplies of tea coffee toiletries etc.

B flat upstairs had some issues. The twin room really isn’t fit for purpose as it’s virtually impossible to squeeze past the end of the beds so isn’t practical. The wooden bedroom blinds in this room were broken so light and noise couldn’t be kept out making it very noisy especially being on the front of the house. It was reported and we checked past reviews proving the issue was known since September and not resolved.

The location is good, plenty of cafes and restaurants on the same street.

When we got there, we had to call to get a code to get in. No one responded, we waited outside, raining, with a baby.. until someone called us back. When we finally got into the apartment, there was a putrid smell, like rotten cheese. We found it coming from the fridge. We obviously couldn't use it, cook anything or stay in the kitchen. Just used some spray to try getting the smell away. The windows were already open.. so whoever was there before knew about it. We asked for at least a partial refund, given that we couldn't cook anything.. but they ignored us. The bedrooms are next to a busy and noisy road so we couldn't get much sleep either.

Perfect for a weekend break, we would return.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. It had everything we needed for a weekend break. Nice little extras, including tea, coffee, sugar and milk plus bottles of water. Also toiletries including cotton wool pads and buds. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was warm. It was really helpful that we were able to leave our luggage at the reception before and after check in/ out.

There was a little bit of noise in the front bedroom as it was in the main road but it was a good location for visiting the city.

The check-in procedure is quite cumbersome: you need to call a UK number in order to get the access code. Not sure all people from abroad can do that. The ceiling in some point was really low, difficult to reach to place the luggage or other. The apartment size was barely enough for beds, sofa, and furniture

Beautiful apartment, great location and warm proactive staff.

Apartment was beautiful, crisp and clean. Location was great in terms of distance from Cambridge centre but also in a street with a range of international shops and cafes/restaurants. There were one or two broken items to report (as to be reasonably expected with guests passing in and out) but this was dealt with almost immediately and the two guys who came to do so were warm and personable.

Didn't like the surprise email the morning before we arrived asking for £150 deposit. But maybe I missed or forgot this detail since booking months before. It's reasonable to expect a deposit but the way it popped up just before arrival put us on the back foot and made us feel less than welcome to begin with.

Loved Carlos BBQ Across the Street but….

Property is on a commercial street making it convenient to markets, stores, and restaurants. The apartment is large with contemporary furnishings. Kitchen is well equipped.

The check-in process was difficult. You must call an office to get a code. Check in before 3:00 was not allowed. It would have helped if the instructions posted on the door of the property for luggage storage prior to check-in included a map. My phone GPS sent us to a very similar address - 9 The Broadway, Mill Road instead of 9 Mill Road. The coffee shop at 9 The Broadway Mill Road reported that other people have come there looking for luggage storage. So we are not the only ones who ended up dragging our luggage around for 30 minutes unnecessarily. The apartment would benefit from a fan and window screens, especially in hot weather. The road noise made it difficult to sleep. Cars, motorcycles, people outside talking and yelling. Having the windows open let in the flies and all of the street noise. Not a place for light sleepers. Not a good value at 145 pounds.

Great stay for short or long trip to Cambridge

Cambridge is a decently walkable city so the location was not bad. Plenty of communication from the staff as far as check-in and checkout. Unit was clean and had a small garden to enjoy.

They don't tell you before hand that to store your luggage you have to walk to another location that is nearby. By aware so you don't show up to the unit thinking you can store your items before check-in.

Huge surprise to find such a quality "upscale" apartment associated with a hostel-like residence.

Location, location, location. Easy walking distance to the uni and National Bus Stop.

Would have appreciated an alert in advance that the rooms are on two levels - important for older renters. Recommend reconsidering the placement of dining area just above stairs from the kitchen.

The place was beautiful -- a little larger than we expected so we were thrilled. The only drawback was the shower filled up if the water was on too high. Easily fixable with a note. We loved the place, loved the time with y'all. Thank you.

Great value, comfortable stay

Property was newly renovated and decorated to an excellent standard, very clean and comfortable. About 10 min walk from train station with lot of options to eat out, coop and local Sainsbury’s just across the road.

Spaces are small and have to walk up lots of stairs to apartment C. At night street is a little noisy if window is open.
