Modern Mill Road flat near Cambridge station and university

Muy lindo departamento, con dos habitaciones comodas, los colchones y almohadas muy bien. La cocina muy completa.

La limpieza del frente y del patio.Habian muchas hojas de plantas y algunas telarañas.

Ens ha encantat la terrassa. És àmplia i molt agradable. Te una llar def foc/barbacoa molt maca, tot i que no la vam utilitzar. La taula és nova i hi ha un parasol. L'apartament és modern, tot és nou i està i molt net. L'anfitrió és amable i respon als missatges raonablement ràpid. Està a 20-30 minuts caminant del centre però només 8 minuts si llogues bicicletes, que les pots deixar a la part de davant de l'apartament fàcilment (Cambridge és ideal per bicicletes). Hi iha moltíssimes botigues i restaurants al mateix carrer, molt aprop. Tot fàcil i molt convenient.

Són coses menors, especialment si l'estada és curta i és a l'estiu. Però ès bo saber que no hi ha cafetera, i els estris de cuinar són molt justos. La taula de la cuina no és taula (és un "counter", on 4 persones han de menjar en línia molt apretats). No hi ha cap taula enlloc, a dins de l'apartament. Hi ha un pub just al davant que fa bastant soroll (al menys a l'estiu) fins passada la mitjanit. Els llits són molt còmodes, però molt justos per 2 persones (1,35m aprox). La taula de ping-pong que surt a les fotos no és utilitzable ja que està tota deformada.

I liked the ambience. The rooms and washrooms were very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed as a family. Had a cute living room where we sat to chitchat and watch movies together.

Too much rubbish at the front and at the back of the house which I reported to the owner. She was very apologetic since she lived offsite and promised to get it all cleaned up.

Good points: a. Good bedrooms and comfy beds. Netflix on smaller bedroom TV was appreciated. b. Good bathroom but shower floor is slippery and needs a non-slip mat. Hot water and heating are good. c. Kitchen is reasonably well equipped but the living space is certainly not big enough for more than 2 people. d. The provision of games was appreciated. e. The outside area and pit fire would enhance this apartment during summer months - and accommodate more people - but is unusable at this time of year (November). f. The location is excellent - good shops and restaurants.

a. The living space is extremely small. Only one area of bench space must suffice for food preparation and eating, seated on uncomfortable bar stools. There is no room for a table and chairs. b. The couch looks good but is not comfortable for prolonged sitting. Given that the large TV is there, the lack of a comfortable seating is a problem. c. A standard lamp us provided - the overhead lights are very bright, but a long arm is needed to turn it on and off.
