unclean, poor communication from host, partly in disrepair

They provided a small amount of food and drink on arrival.

The host was a very poor communicator and messed us about for an entire day. We had a delay in our travel and so would only make it to the property at 11pm. We then had to find alternative accommodation - then the communicator told us an hour later that someone was waiting for us. We explained that we had to find alterative accommodation. Then the next day we were told we could only be let into the air bnb at 2pm (a whole day after we were supposed to be there). Finally, they tried to charge us for an early check in fee for 2pm, even though our check in was the day before. At 11am, we asked if they could do earlier, they said no. We agreed upon 3pm without an early fee. Then, an hour later, they messaged us at 12 midday to say that someone would meet us at 1:35pm. We explained that we had left our things at the other accommodation so that would not be possible and to stick with 3pm. Then at 3pm we arrived to find out the host was not present and they had called a different air bnb manager (who was very nice) to take over the role. When we got in, the sheets were unclean with hairs all over the bed, the floor was dirty and had not been hoovered, and the radiators were very fragile and kept falling off of their hinges. Overall, the stay was unclean and we were messed around by the poor communication team of July and Cherry (these were their names).

Passable but pleasant

Lovely compact living space and modern area. Bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was great. Good spot for a short stay.

The heating was on full whack no matter how many times we reset the thermostat which made sleeping very uncomfortable. The shower head was also loosely connected to the wall as the screws had clearly come out of the wall. Not great value for what we paid but overall an okay stay :)

What was advertised as available (and booked) on booking.com was double booked. Felt a bit like bait and switch.

Lovely and comfortable

Access to food stores and supermarkets. The flat has equipment that facilitates the preparation of quick meals.

The flat answered my expectations for the period of time I stayed in the city.

Good stay overall, could be better

The location is very convenient, right next to the train station and there are plenty of restaurants and a few supermarkets around.

The area can get a bit noisy at the night especially on Sat & Sun up until 12am. Also the studio can get very stuffy (28° during my stay when outside is 24° max) with no way to ventilate. The host said there was a fan but I cannot find it. The only way to cool down is to leave the balcony door wide open all night long but you lost the privacy plus the noise problem.

Superb

Very nice flat comfortable and quiet .Shower and bath good relaxing experience. Bed was comfortable and a big fan . The host gave me a fob little difficult with key .Quality stay for me .

Arrival was a little fraught as I ended up locked in an underground car park…. The lock on the main door to the block was really awkward.

1.Broken cupboard in kitchen which is taped up. 2.Kitchen above hob lightbulb exposed due to broken/missing glass covering. 3.Broken double bed headboard. 4.Broken sofa bed making sitting on difficult due to sinking. 5.I was messaged saying we can leave anytime before 11am, then received a call at 10something saying I'm late out for the cleaners. 6.Light fixtures too low down for tall people. 7.Toilet flushing issues.

something is weird with the heating. couldn’t get it to turn down. had to open windows and doors. not even a glass for a drink of water, had to use a mug. absolutely zero functionality in the kitchen (eg a small amount of milk) without finding a supermarket. more suited to a longer stay.

Felt that it needed sprucing up. Unfortunately, no milk was left for tea which was annoying. Also, the plug in the bathroom didn’t work and the toilet seat was loose. small things I know and hopefully these will be sorted, but it gave a disappointing view of the property.
