Citystay Living - Mill Park Apartments

Spacious, modern, comfortable and really well equipped. Comfy beds and good quality bed linen. Balcony was a bonus. Great communication with staff.

Just lacked a little bit of general maintenance. Some scuffed walls, a few non functioning lights and TV remote with leaky batteries. Would benefit from just a little more attention to detail at changeovers.

Location was perfect, right beside train station, but only 20-30 mins from city centre. Apartment was well furnished and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We were put in a duplex with lovely views and a wrap around balcony. It was perfect

Nothing.

This was a large and spacious property conveniently located near the train station. It was generally well-kitted out, with two rooms and two bathrooms. It was generally good for our needs— we were out and about most of the time we were in Cambridge.

There were four things that let the property down. First of all, the main living area stank of stale cigarette smoke. We stayed in the summer, so we left the windows open to air it out, but it was really pervasive. The lobby/entry way to the building also stank of rubbish, like a bag had exploded and hadn’t been properly cleaned up. There was a big, broken desk and chair in the living area— not sure why that wasn’t removed. Finally, we used the washing machine and our clothes were not very clean and also COVERED in white lint— had to rewash them all when we got home.
