Lovely well equipped apartment. Great location right next to the train station. Very thankful for the tea/ coffee/sugar/ milk/biscuits…lovely touch

Balcony needs a good clean. Cobwebs/spiders and moss on the furniture/glass and decking. We still sat out there as it was over 30 degrees!

This was a large and spacious property conveniently located near the train station. It was generally well-kitted out, with two rooms and two bathrooms. It was generally good for our needs— we were out and about most of the time we were in Cambridge.

There were four things that let the property down. First of all, the main living area stank of stale cigarette smoke. We stayed in the summer, so we left the windows open to air it out, but it was really pervasive. The lobby/entry way to the building also stank of rubbish, like a bag had exploded and hadn’t been properly cleaned up. There was a big, broken desk and chair in the living area— not sure why that wasn’t removed. Finally, we used the washing machine and our clothes were not very clean and also COVERED in white lint— had to rewash them all when we got home.
