The property is an architectural gem in that it is modern, well designed and drenched in natural light. The balcony off the bedroom is a lovely, private space to relax. It is great to have an additional toilet downstairs.
Unfortunately, the shower fixture was broken meaning that the head had to be held while showering. This would be a cheap and easy thing to fix. Also, the light in the storeroom where the key boxes are only stayed on for five seconds at a time. Again, this would be an easy fix that would go along way to making visitors feel more safe.

Functional, good location, felt secure, had everything we needed.
Not a private check-in as described.
We had to call 1 hour before arrival and we were then asked to call again when we were at the property to get the key code at which point no-one answered. We tried repeatedly for 15mins and then called their emergency maintenance number where the person was very helpful.
Check out instructions also werenât clear â leave key in letter boxâ - there were three do we had to call again to see which one.
Perfectly functional and modern looking flat bug the âfinishâ not as fresh as it appears in the pictures, itâs been done cheap and cheerful and big tired in a few areasâŚe.g around the shower. Find though as long as thatâs expected.
Facilities list not up to date, no slippers (not that that affected us)

The place itself was stellar, and the staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable and it was nice having a kitchen and washer/dryer which were both clean and functioned well.
It was very hot, and leaving the door open for air flow let in the noise from the pub across the street as well as the construction. I would stay again if it was not summer and I could leave the doors closed.

This apartment is brilliant as a studio apartment. It is situated just off of Mill Road and there's a great choice of convenience stores close by, as well as food, pubs/bars.
I love that the bedroom is well separated from the lounge/kitchen diner. The bathroom is small but not cramped, the shower is good (no bath).
The whole apartment is nice and light, plenty of windows to keep cool and it comes with fans (I stayed when it was hot so they were very welcomed).
I enjoy staying at this apartment as it is perfect for me.
The bedroom has a lower ceiling so probably not ideal for someone tall- I am 5ft 2 so it wasn't a problem for me but a morning stretch had me touching the ceiling which has prompted this comment to help those that are taller.
I like the fact that the entrance is private from the road so that you can sit at the top of the stairs and get some fresh air without having to leave the apartment.
It is near 2 pubs but they aren't too loud and kick out at a reasonable time. I've never had a bad nights sleep at this apartment and I stay here rather often.
Nothing, although a little lamp next to the sofa would make for some cosier evenings.

We didnât really use the kitchen, but we think there was a lot of kitchen equipment available. The bed was nice. There was a busier street next to the place, but we didnât have a lot of night noise. It was nice to have a separate toilet downstairs and one upstairs in the bathroom. The layout of the apartment was cozy and practical.
When we arrived the apartment didnât smell fresh. A lot of things were sticky and not very clean. The bathroom was okay clean. We arrived a bit earlier in the neighbourhood than we had the appointment for the check-in, so we saw a cleaning company was cleaning in the apartment. That is how we knew they cleaned, but we guess they only did a quick âswipeâ and not a deep clean.

Excellent location. There were snacks and even milk / juice, bread ready in the kitchen ; which was very sweet! Had a lovely balcony. Highly recommended!

We LOVED the apartment! It is spacious, modern, well furnished and feature all the amenities one could think off. The welcoming package was particularly nice, as it included breakfast, orange juice, coffee, and more. The apartment is also centrally-located, making it ideal to explore the city and its surroundings.
nothing.

Convenient location close to station. Clean and well appointed.
Shower flow was too low. Like a spray nozzle on a small water bottle. A little noisy due to location at street corner.

For what we wanted (i.e. our reason for being in Cambridge) location was perfect
Lack of parking; wait to get keys; heat at night, impossible to sleep

Though I had booked Devonshire Place, Citystay gave me another apartment close by at Mill Park. It was a lovely apartment and the review above is for that. I had a very comfortable stay and the people at Citystay were very good.

Shower - water pressure was a bit weak but still hot and great

I absolutely loved this property! it was just brilliant and I would happily stay here often! I slept well, I was warm and had 2 fans to keep me cool when it was hotter. The bed was comfy, it wasnât too noisy despite being close to 2 pubs. Everything was just perfect!
The only thing I didnât like which is me just being picky, was the the shower temp. There was a fine line between being too cold and too hot, it was hard to get the perfect temperature but thatâs it.

Wonderful place in central location! The woman who welcomed us was super nice and even let us check out an hour later on our departure day. And the apartment was very well equipped with all essentials, plus plenty of coffee, tee and breakfast in the fridge. Great service!!
The water pressure and the WLAN speed could be better, but our overall good impression was not tarnished by that.

it was a cute little home away from home specially the food left in the fridge, tidy and clean will definitely stay there again
the only thing I didnât like is the stairs as I had so many suitcases

We have stayed here on several occasions now. It has become a bit of a home away from home. Because we knew the property, Citystay sent us details for us to do a self-service check-in, which was very convenient, particularly since our plans changed last minute and we ended up arriving 24 hours later than planned. Citystay were also very accommodating when we needed to stay longer than the usual check out time (we checked in advance that this was OK).
Everything is fine. There are a couple of light bulbs in need of replacement (e.g. over bathroom sink, in the main living space).

Perfect little apartment for a short stay. Clean, warm and comfortable. Iâll stay arak.

There are a few lightbulbs that need replacing - above the front door hallway, in the bathroom (over mirror) and in the bedroom. Apart from that, everything is fine.
