That the sheets fit the bed better and tucked in. They slid around in the night. Hot water for bath and shower was lukewarm warm

Two nights was sufficient.

It is a very modern flat that has clearly had money spent on it when it was newly completed. Two of the three bedrooms are sufficiently spacious and the kitchen - diner - lounge area is comparatively spacious. The ability to sit out on either the front or rear balcony was a definite plus in the heat, although not sociable as each balcony only has one chair provided. Allocated parking almost right next to the front door - a brilliant idea. Short drive to the Trumpington Park & Ride and then an easy and cheap bus ride into the centre of Cambridge - that all works very well. The two nights were pleasant but definitely enough.

Right up until I was given the key box access code at 3pm I had the uncomfortable feeling that this booking was a scam. It wasn't, but it so easily could be subverted - the off-website payment process, secrecy, additional security deposit and last-second availability of the vital info do not give a feel-good factor to the booking process. Even with the balcony windows open, it was uncomfortably muggy in the flat, particularly at night with two of the three bedrooms facing the busy Addenbrooke's Road. The third bedroom was just unbearably stuffy. This noise is, to be fair, a "feature" of city living, but it did make actual sleeping very limited. The painted walls are getting very marked, which is another worry when there's a £200 security deposit in the balance. Photographed everything for the first hour! The bathroom is the weakest point of the flat. It suffers from a non-opening window and a *very* strong smell of rotting damp wood. The glass shower screen has been removed (left stored on the front balcony) and replaced by a push-to-fit shower curtain rail that didn't do so reliably and fell down more than once. The lavatory seat is almost off its hinges and impossible to tighten back up. That's a trap waiting to catch someone. The kitchen well equipped for basic cooking, but the extractor hood wouldn't actually do anything beyond lighting up. Be warned - in the hallway there is a prominent notice telling you in no uncertain terms that you must watch anything on BBC iPlayer because the property doesn't have a television licence. So if you don't have your own existing streaming service subscription - tough. I found that tight attitude by the owners very annoying - I've never had holiday accommodation in the UK with that pinned to the wall before.

Great place and well maintained, clean and comfortable

Small bedroom gets very hot due to the boiler being located in the compartment within this room. My child could not sleep nicley as he was often too hot, even if the fan was on. Water in shower difficult to control temperature

The 3rd bedroom is a joke Tiny Hot as the boiler and tank are in the room. There is a window but it doesn’t open. A fan and bedside light was supplied but the plug socket is on the wall of the bed so you need to pull the bed out and then it covers half the bedroom door. Not practical at all. The bathroom is I little dated. Mastic around bath needs replacing as it is blackened and unsightly

Huoneisto oli epäsiistissä kunnossa sinne saapuessamme, siivous toki järjestettiin seuraavaksi päiväksi. Kylpyhuone oli joutunut remonttiin ennen saapumistamme ja remontin valmistuminen viivästyi, olisi pitänyt olla valmis toisena majoituspäivänä, mutta ammeen etulevyä ei kiinnitetty koko majoittumisemme aikana. Sänkyjen tyynyissä ei ollut tyynyliinoja ja tästä piti hieman vääntää että toimittivat siivouksen yhteydessä tyynyliinat. Keittiön valkoiset kangastuolit läikkäiset, kaipaisivat pesua.
