We loved the neighborhood the apartment was in. So close to everything but in a quiet part of town. The grocery store is right across from train station which is a 10min walk. We got a rail pass and used trains and busses and boats to get around. Interlaken West was a beautiful small city with plenty of restaurants, stores and activities close by. We arrived by train and took a boat ride around Thunsee which is located right next to train station. The apartment was clean and well appointed. We were in a one bedroom loft which contained a washer and dryer which was perfect for our two week trip. It allowed us to pack light and do wash in between our weeks. We would love to stay there again.
