Great authentic palazzo, a short walk from the centre
Beautiful palazzo, so much more interesting and authentic than staying in a hotel. Very warm despite being cold and wet outside, quiet, and really comfortable beds and pillows (unlike many hotels). Well stocked with coffee and tea etc. Easy to walk into the centre of Cremona, which was surprisingly nice, and easy to get a coffee and pastry for breakfast. Super welcoming, though helps to speak Italian! And easy to reach the fiere by car.

We were greeted by handsome and charming Roberto. He made us feel so welcome. The entry was easy and there was a nice parking lot enclosed with the property. This was very convenient. And no extra charge. As we walked into the building my breath was absolutely taken away! And believe me, that does not usually happen. This is truly a medieval Palazzo that has been updated to modern comforts. Yet it does not lose its original true historical feel. Our room was enormous and had many thoughtful amenities such as a shoehorn, cookies, candies, water and sodas in the refrigerator, a good coffee machine. There was even a small notepad. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. There was plenty of space and a dining table where you could spread your things out for organizing things or doing your makeup.
Cannot think of a thing that I did not like. It was really luxurious and a nice change from other types of accommodations. Good restaurant choices were within easy walking distance. As well as the fabulous violin museum and by the way definitely go there. Cremona is the home of Antonio Stradivarius and much is reminiscent of him and the carving and building of violins.

First of all, the property, specifically the architecture, is amazing. But then, the hospitality that Michaela showed us made the stay even more specials. She was awesome.

A Unique Experience
The Palazzo is simply magnificent. It feels like travelling back to the XVth century. And Roberto, the host, goes out of his way to make your stay unique.
XVth century Palazzos don't have as much light as a modern hotel, but it would be difficult to complain about that.

An exceptional place to stay
What an amazing building, the photos do not do it justice! Onsite parking was so convenient as it was very easy to walk to the historical centre. We had a lovely well equipped room and our dog was made very welcome. Roberto is an exceptional host and a wonderfully kind person - we sincerely hope that we'll have the opportunity to return. Thank you so much!

Unacceptable room which needs a total renovation and major updating. Price is also out of line
Location was very good, the host was friendly.
The room has a bad mold problem and we debated about leaving in the middle of the night. The mattress was lumpy and ancient. All the carpets were worn, dirty and really needed to be replaced. In the sitting room the ancient chairs/sofa dating from the early 1900 or late 1800 have probably never been re-upholstered and the springs totally worn through, could hardly sit on it. We like antique furniture and our house is full of them but they need to be maintained.
