Chesa Canggu

The restaurant had excellent food, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The staff were so kind and helpful too.

Chesa Canggu was a pleasant surprise. To start, the reception and restaurant staff we're incredibly friendly and hospitable, even a small detail such as remembering your name so they could say good morning to you every day was amazing! The rooms were spacious, bed was huge and comfortable and the place was incredibly clean. I appreciated the fact that water bottles were replaced daily, not just once. There were two pools, and both we're really great and quiet. There was no fighting for lounges. The pool had a decent bit of sun on it, I would say lasting from about 11-3pm. The location was excellent as well, just a short walk to the nearest cafes and restaurants. This was an excellent bonus. Room/pool service was also great and affordable, and was very prompt as well! I had no issues with bugs in the room either. Overall, for the price, it really did exceed expectations and I would absolutely stay again next time, and am looking forward to coming back again!

I guess one thing to note is that there is a rice field nearby on the road. The smell is no issue whilst you are at the accommodation, however if you are quite sensitive to smell it is just something to be aware of when walking on the road. Best to get a Grab and pass it quicker! Also, seeing how quickly Bali changes I am sure this will be built on very soon :( There is also some noise that can be heard through the night, very manageable but just to be aware. Lastly, just some advise for Chesa it would be great for the tea and coffee stations to have black tea bags and creamer such as coffee mate or milk in the fridge for tea/coffee! :D. There really are no faults to this place though :)
