Hands down the best hotel in Canggu to start our holiday, ticks all the boxes!

Unreal location, the hotel was so clean and no task was too big. The staff were amazing!! Didn’t want to leave they honestly made the stay perfect. Especially reception staff Ariana, Melly & Rizay!! The honestly Went above and beyond to ensure me and my partner were well looked after, especially as we both fell ill during our time at the hotel. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning in the future!

Wonderful Canggu Hotel

All of the staff are super friendly and attentive ensuring our stay was wonderful. The location is great situated just off the main road with close proximity to bar, minimart, pharmacy. The restaurant served some nice food. The pool areas were very clean and look like the photos. The bed was extremely comfy and the minibar was well stocked. The shower was fantastic. Recommend staying here

Perfect place to stay in Canggu

We really enjoyed the pleasant calm surroundings. The really friendly staff, the excellent food and great quiet location but close enough to everything in Canggu. The gym and pools were also a real bonus during our stay. Special thanks to Ricksy and the rest of the reception and restaurant staff who all greet you with genuine smiles every day :)

Absolutely perfect in every way. Can’t recommend Chesa highly enough! Beautiful design with amazing attention to detail, super comfortable rooms and wonderful staff. The on-site restaurant (Thara) serves delicious meals - we were very impressed!

New hotel, IT’S SPECTACULAR!

My first impression of this hotel is, it’s new! Everything is spick and span. As someone who loves to gym, theirs is great! Most of the machines including dumbbells are brand new. May not be like Obsidian but gets the job done. They have a lounge where you can help yourself to the food from 2-5pm. They served some appetisers, infused water, coffee and tea. I believe no matter what room you choose, they are facing the pool. They have 2 pools. I would like to reach out to Ariana, Dita and Tommy for their hospitality. Loving the personal touch and greetings by name. Always smiling and I feel the staff are handpicked carefully because every single one of them from kitchen staff to housekeeping crews are always smiling and greeting the hotel patrons cheerfully. Good culture being nurtured in the team. The location is superb! Walkable to places that you would want to go e.g. Milk and Madu, Gigi Susu, Old Man’s bar, Batu Bolong beach and quality massage places nearby.

Maybe a lats pulldown machine in the gym.

Perfect experience! Staff is lovely (Ariana is the best). Nice, tidy and comfortable rooms. Very good restaurant and nice pool areas. Plus free afternoon tea with snacks. In walking distance to the beach and shops/restaurants/bars.

Cessa - Where they go Over & Above!

The staff were so welcoming. They were all smiles, all warmth and most importantly all genuine and true. We were so taken by their kind and friendly attention that we immediately extended our stay for another 3 nights. We just came from another hotel - was alright - but Chesa is the one! Just like when you met your soulmate, remember? The hotel is modern chic with 2 swimming pools. Low density with only 38 rooms? My wife misplaced an item she bought and Mr Ariana and his delightful front counter lady colleague spared no effort when he Whatsapp texted them, on our way to Bali Airport, to try to find the item. They videoed going into the room and looking for it. They contacted the shop we bought the item from and managed to get CCTV footage and whatsapped the footage to us to show my wife did collect the item. Hopefully we find it when we unpack back home! 🙏 I know, don't tell her, but she's a bit of a scatter brain (my wife) ... not the Cessa staff! I could go on and on - the complimentary mini bar, the complimentary evening tea but I would just be boring you all. Please stay at the Cessa. You will be amazed and be splendidly pleased and hopefully agree with my review!

Trendy chic classy accommodation and truly a 5 stars hotel! Perfect location near all the trendy shops and cafes but far away enough from any noisy bars or clubs. Has 2 pools. We feel like royalty or billionaires! Exceptional value for money. We could stay here forever if life (work!) did not beckon......

A Quiet Oasis in Bustling Canggu

Lovely rooms and hotel. Comfortable beds. The staff were so friendly and nice. Pools were very clean and plenty of loungers. We didn't eat in the restaurant but coffee/drinks by the pool were very good. Location was excellent, 2 mins walk to shops and bars.

The attention to detail was exceptional as was the service. The entire team was professional, helpfully and kind. The amenities, food, pool, afternoon tea is thoughtfully executed. Rooms were modern, comfortable and spotless. I was sad to leave.

The staff was excellent - very helpful, excellent English. The resort is well maintained and provides quiet respite from Bali's traffic. There are two swimming pools and the water doesn't heat up. For me, a cool swimming pool is important The room was very comfortable with a view of the pool. Quality linen provided Bottles of water, not plastic, provided everyday. The hotel restaurant served good food. They also offer room service Prices were OK.

The wifi was intermittent but was never out for a long time. A staff member would reset the router when required. The location is OK. Close to shops and restaurants. It was 10 - 15 minute walk to the beach. I guess there are cleaner beaches near by but the resort was so comfortable, I swam in the pools.

Incredible!

Our first stay during our trip to Bali and we absolutely loved it. Everywhere else has been a bit disappointing since! Staff are phenomenal and go above and beyond to help you. They are so smiley and welcoming. Cold towels and a drink on arrival which was lovely. There are 2 pools, we only used one but it was lovely and quiet. Beds around the pool were comfy and had umbrellas. Our room was great, free drinking water provided and free Coke and beer in the minifridge. The restaurant here is unbelievable. We ate here on the first night, the nasi goreng is the best I've had all trip. We don't normally eat in the same places again but ate here for dinner for a second time as well as lunch and breakfast on different days. Each time, the food and drinks were fab. We asked them to help us with some laundry too which they did. Highly recommend!

The only thing I didn't love was the pillows, there were 2 and one was slightly firmer than the other but they were still a little too firm for my liking.

Ariana and gio are amazing people

We were very happy with our stay at Chesa Hotel. The location is excellent — right in the center and within walking distance to many places. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were spotless clean. We had no issues with hot water during our stay. Also, there were no bugs or lizards at all, which was a big plus. There are two pools; one is sunnier and perfect for sunbathing, while the other is more shaded — great variety. I definitely recommend it!

Everything was amazing and was such good value for money. The staff (Ariana and the team) were so kind and always wanting to help. They came and sung happy birthday to my sister and gave her a big cake which was delicious.

Amazing location, if you want to be in the heart of everything in canggu. But it’s still very quiet and relaxing. Very clean, big comfy bed, cheap and nice food in the restaurant/room service. Plus very friendly staff. Can’t fault anything!
