Excellent stay with great staff and perfect overall experience

The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right away. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. They gave us great recommendations on places to visit, which really helped us make the most of our stay. The hotel has a partner parking area nearby, which was very convenient, and they also own a restaurant just a few minutes away where we had dinner — and it was absolutely excellent. Breakfast was also great, with plenty of fresh options and everything well prepared. Overall, a perfect stay from start to finish.

A wonderful hotel to stay

Our room has a little attic where we enjoyed the mountain views. It’s within a short walk from the train and bus stations. We also enjoyed riding the free bicycles along the river and around the town. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. We had to catch train early on our last day, and they were so nice to let us have breakfast early. The hotel ground is very beautiful. We are very satisfied and looking forward to staying in this hotel next time we are back.

Would stay again

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and beautiful with a comfortable bed, breakfast delicious and we enjoyed the little details that made it special, like sage butter, fresh herbs and homemade cake. Plenty of glutenfree options too. The garden is absolutely wonderful.

Not a problem per-se, but something to note for travellers looking for quiet and relaxation: the hotel seems to attract a lot of families with younger children. So, while the garden/ pool look idyllic on the pictures, they can get quite busy.

Good location, fabulous Breakfast.

The hotel also provides the Card which I can use for public transportation and some tourist place to the customer. It's very useful. Location is the best and also Breakfast is very fantastic. Afternoon team also make us relax like home.

Nice stay at hotel Traube

The hotel is very nice, the staff friendly and the breakfast was exceptional. The location is right in the city center. The hotel has a great website that informs guests on events, tours and possible hiking trails. You also get a Brixen pass when you check-in that will allow you to take public transport for free but also give you free entrance to various sites/museums. Had we known, we would have taken advantage of this when visiting the Neustift Abbey.

The room was small and had no fridge. Also we had to park our car in a public parking space 4 minutes away, so not so bad.

highly overrated. No value for money

quite central 5 minutes walking from the center

very basic room, the bed was not made properly with a sheet that wouldn’t cover all the surface but just a piece of it. In the bathroom there was not even a decent shower gel or soap but a cheap one that wasn’t so good to wash yourself. In the closet there was no bag for the laundry and it was full of old blankets so it was impossible to put inside the jacket and the suit. the breakfast was very absolutely cheap and poor with juices that seemed bought from a discount and the croissant that seemed defrost ones and a horrible cake. 126 euro for on night to get this service is highly overrated. I wouldn’t come back at all

Lovely stay in the mountains for some snowboard and sightseeing

The location is really good, with convenient parking at 3 minutes walking distance. Bressanone is packed with great restaurants, with dim lights and good food for every taste. Plose ski resort is 15/20 minutes by car, which makes it ideal. Val Gardena ski resort is 1.5 hours by car, also a good choice. We traveled by car to Bolzano, Brunico, Innsbruck (Austria), Verona and Lago di Garda, all excellent choices with great options for sightseeing and food. Overall a greatly located hotel if you can rent a car and put some kilometers on it - 1350km total for us during 7 days

We didn't dislike anything. If I'm being very nitpicky, we ran into an issue on the checkout day. By our own fault, we didn't realize that it was in fact our checkout date, we thought we had one more day, and only realized it when a very nice person came to nicely warn us we were 15 minutes overdue to leave. This is more of a general practice that we would like to see hotels doing, kindly reminding guests of their leave date the day before. Nothing special, and again, it was our fault.

A beautiful retreat in a perfect location to explore Brixen.

The grounds are beautiful. Close to many restaurants and attractions in Brixen. Room was spotless and spacious. Staff was excellent; very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had many options, especially considering typical American hotels. It was a great spread with local items. The building is beautiful and I love the traditional keys. Very safe area to walk around at night. Felt right at home for the 6 days I was there. Staff helped me find where I needed to go, got me transportation and even helped my co-worked find a doctor when she got sick. The restaurant has a Michelin star and is exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel. I will be coming back.

Excellent stay at Hotel Traube.

Lovely hotel a very short walk from the historic town center. The hotel staff were very helpful and always available to answer questions. We loved that the local Brixen card was provided and included many complimentary activities and transportation (trains and buses) throughout the region. The daily breakfast spread was amazing and included pastries, croissants, breads, meats, cheeses, eggs, bacon, fruit, fresh yogurts, and the best cappuccinos! It is a lovely hotel.

Very memorable!

We were able to use bicycles free of charge to tour nearby villages. The Brixen card allowed us to use the Plose gondola to do some of the best hiking we have ever done! The breakfast was delicious and the staff could not have been more helpful! The beds were very comfortable. There is no air conditioning which may be a problem for some. I highly recommend this quaint hotel.

We kept the windows open because it was a bit warm and being the weekend, there were late night party goers that thought it enjoyable to yell and clap their hands as they passed under our open windows waking us up at 2am. Definitely not the fault of our host.

Loved the Hotel and friendly/helpful staff. The room was a decent size, Quiet, and clean. bed were comfy bathroom and shower were clean too. Fantastic location in Brixen. Short walk to center and river. Ate dinner at restaurant owned by same family . Reserved-spot parking was close by. Breakfast in fabulous garden was a treat. The Macaw near entrance was a happy surprise. It was obviously well-cared for. wi-fi was reliable. hardly ever look at TV,cso no opinion on that. Sorry we didn't have time to use free bikes this time. Will return for longer stay..

We booked a Superior Double Room & we received a small Attic bedroom with no air conditioning. The prominence on the website of their restaurant was misleading as the restaurant was actually 1/2 a KM away from Hotel .

A perfect place to recover after a day out in the mountains

Great location - a short walk from the river, city center, and train station. The breakfast and garden were perfect and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was exactly what we needed and exceeded our expectations.
