Amazing

Absolutely superb

Nothing not to like. Luxury with lots of added bonuses - everything from free bikes and sledges to umbrellas, coffee and even condiments. You can cook here easily. Ski bus handy as is Aquarena spa. Brixen card included.

No fault of Nives, in fact a potential problem for them. The Brixen Card no longer includes cable car up Plose in winter (it does in Summer). This put almost €60 per day on our holiday costs (just for 2 people). Brixen was so quiet this year with very few tourists, as were the Plose huts (Bars, restaurants). This cannot be good for hotels or businesses as well as pricing tourists out of the area.

Best stay I have experienced in Italy

Modern and well kept facilities, great people who greeted me and my children on all occasions. Very good base from which to explore the Dolomites. Brixen is sizeable enough to have all the amenities you will need and yet not so touristy that you still get a local feel. I'm sure we will be back! Make sure to make use of the free pass for the local pool, we visited in Winter and the warm outdoor pool is great and different!

Everything was great except the prices are a bit steep but actually it is already good value for the region.

Broken window = bad

There's a lot to like about Residence Nives. It's quiet, with a beautiful room, nice staff, decent breakfast. But.... (see what we didn't like)

I'll be happy to change my one-star into a ten-star once this hotel solves its parking lot problem. Overhanging the majority of parking spots, metal bars stick out from the hotel, which at night are not easy to see. This means you can't back up in the parking lot. Yes, there are signs not to do this, but judging by the piles of shattered glass in the parking lot (no joke), MANY before us had missed the sign and destroyed their back window (or worse, their car-frame). More signs are not a solution to bad design! Some ideas: - Add a soft rubber piece on the bar, to soften the blow if hit (it WILL happen again) - Improve visibility by hanging something (soft) from them (rope/cloth) - Redesign the parking lot

Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delightful. The staff was always helpful and nice. Brixen was super nice and the brixen card is amazing. We loved our stay

Excellent stay

Clean, quiet, with a mountain view. The receptionists were very helpful. The location is very close to the centre. It's nice to take a walk along the river to the other side of the town. Parking is included. Overall, an excellent stay.

Could add a chopping board for cooking.

We were so happy to find Residence Nives!

We loved the size of the room and the shower, the balcony was large and was perfect for eating the fabulous breakfasts and watching a summer thunderstorm. The hotel was a block from the river and a short walk to the village center. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Super nice and very useful hotel in Brixen (Bressanone)

It is attended to by super kind staff, the whole facility is super comfortable, hyper clean, very well located smack in the middle of town, but not on everyone's way, gorgeous views, plenty to do and Aquarena and Brixen Card included... super value for money!

Very good location, kitchen equipped with everything, beautiful views. Free parking and use of the washing machine. Very dog friendly, they could have offered everything needed for the dog (bed, bowls, food), but we didn't need anything. Per day the cost for a dog is 15 euro.

Everything! the room; the balcony; the view; the bed; the large bathroom and wonderful shower; the kitchenette and wonderful coffee machine and Illy coffee. The incredible local Tisane included. Barbara at reception was amazing and so friendly and helpful before and during the stay. Parking is free and on site and the walk into town along the river was short and beautiful. There is even a Eurospar just across the river. We can not imagine ever staying anywhere else in beautiful Bressanone. We will see you again Resience Nives!

Just Great

The Residence is new and well equipped, with all the necessary facilities (great coffee machine). The owner is super friendly and helpful. Free bikes were great for traveling around town. The Brixen card was a treat: public transport, cable cars, the pool (!). I will definitely stay there again when in Brixen

Fab Place with great perks!

Was very tastefully done, plenty of space, facilities were great, you get access to the Brixen card and they have lots of things you can use for free e.g. sleighs, bikes etc!! The man who checked us in was lovely and had lots of great information to share. The room had a small kitchen area you could use also with dishes, glasses cutlery etc. a great balcony which you could enjoy a coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening on and electric shutters. Nice touches like lovely soap and hand washes and all the corridors smelt great!! Attention to detail is great - I would be back in a heartbeat!

Stunning

Everything absolutely top quality. Fantastic panoramic view. Handy for everything, very helpful staff. You get a free Brixen card (check out what it covers - it actually saved us over €50 per day on things we would have used anyway). But the Residence also has free bikes, sledges, snow shoes, umbrellas and coffee too. From the outside of the building the rooms look close together but once you are in your room you get a sense of total privacy. The kitchenette is more than adequate for cooking for a week and the bathroom is really excellent. Really loved our holiday here.

We were on the 3rd floor, whether the view from lower floors is so sensational I do not know.

Very pleasant stay. Highlight of my trip

The location was near to the city center (10mins walk). The rooms had mountain view and the staff were very helpful. The stay included the use of their bikes which helped us explored more of the town. Rooms were clean and nice.
