Probably worse than a hostel

decent location, the bed was nice, and the room looked kind of like the photos ..

was lucky enough to share my upstairs neighbours 4am bed time .. the floors creak like mad and are super thin .. the floors need a couple days of renos.

Avoid at all costs, terrible place

I was deeply unhappy with my stay for a number of reasons, listed below. So far national street residence have claimed that there is nothing wrong with the accommodation and also refused to give any kind of compensation. The room itself was old and tatty, the walls had lots of scratches hole and marks all over the wall paper, the carpet was stained and old and the facilities that were provided we massively different from the images provided on booking.com The bed sheets were the wrong size for the bed, every time you rolled over at night they would pop off and I would have to get up and stretch them back over, the bedsheets themselves were horrible old and grey, the pillows were cheap and thin and the bed was very uncomfortable. There was fold up chairs and laundry bags left in the corner of the room as well as a weird assortment of useless supermarket products on a table in the corner of the room. The other residence of the building were also making noise all night banging and thumping on the walls and ceiling. The entrance and hallways were also run down and disgusting. Overall considering I spent 130 euros on this room I'm really unhappy with this. I'm not one to escalate a complaint usually but I do feel this apartment was hugely unsatisfactory for the cost. I booked this place that was this much money because I wanted to have a relaxing enjoyable stay on my business trip I however had one of the worst stays I've had anywhere in many years. Also both the manager of the apartment and booking.com as a service have been absolutley aweful in the forms of sorting the issue out. The manager claims everything is clean and checked when I have video evidence that this isn't the case. Do not stay here no matter what, horrible place.

Once in a lifetime

Amazing location. A lot of beds. Beautiful old space with high ceilings. All the potential for a wonderful, romantic stay. Upon arrival we were greeted by a symphony of sewer odours, coming from the kitchen sink. The bath tub that was mentioned in the booking was nowhere to be found. Instead there was a shower, comfortably housing a colony of mold. The toilet (right next to it) had no paper, nor seat cover. There was an interesting and mysterious display of lights throughout the apartment: the light in the shower wouldn't stay on, the light in the kitchen wouldn't turn off. The movement triggered lamp in the hallway couldn't be turned off either, and had the habit of jumping on at any movement, even in adjacent rooms, shining straight into the bedroom when you tried to roll over. At some point, while we were in bed, a random man walked into the apartment, looking for the 'reception''. We would have gladly put him through, if the phone number we were giving hadn't been fake. Or they simply didn't bother answering it. We were clearly, as the great writer from Antwerp, Willem Elsschot: "gelijmd". Taken for a ride. Location was great though. Highly recommended if you like the smell of other people.

Charming suite with pros and cons

This location was walking distance from the station and close to many great things to see in the historic center of the city. It was in an old traditional Antwerp house and our apartment was quite charming. It had everything you needed to prepare small meals. There were extra beds so it would be great for a family.

You had to pick up the key in a separate office where you also had to pay a city tax. The email said cash preferred but they could only take cash so we had to go find an ATM. The whole process was rather time consuming, so I don’t recommend this place for a one night stay. While the apartment was very clean on all surfaces one could touch, the higher areas needed a scrub, for example the high up tiles in the high height bathroom. There are very steep stairs so maybe not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Good

There was a bath which was nice (a bit small but big enough for 1) The bed was very comfortable! Easy to go into the centre, you're close to everything. There was parking nearby as well

Teleurstellend en veel te duur voor het comfort wat je krijgt.

De locatie was prima, maar het appartement was vies, vochtig en had slechte bedden. Badkamer functioneert, maar ook daar erg vochtig. Keuken was te vies om iets in te doen.

Zie bovenstaande tekst. Ik zou niemand het advies geven om voor deze accommodatie te kiezen. Erg jammer natuurlijk als je ergen aankomt en je ziet dat het vies en vochtig is. We hebben er maar geen punt van gemaakt, aangezien we alleen s'nachts in het app. zijn geweest (ook heel bewust)

Een redelijke plek op een toffe locatie

De locatie is top! Vlak bij alle bezienswaardigheden.

Er was een klein plankje (schouw) om de kleren op de bergen. De handdoek haakjes waren afgebroken. De wastafelkraan zat los. De douchekop kon nergens aanhangen. En er steken schroeven uit de vloer waardoor je soms moest oppassen waar je liep. Ook deed het ganglicht het vaak niet en waren de gangen vies.

Zeer teleurstellend door vervelende stank in het appartement zelf (oorzaak onduidelijk) geen service hiervoor vanuit org

De locatie midden in centrum Antwerpen is echt super. Ik moet ook zeggen dat de jonge man bij het inchecken super beleefd en behulpzaam was en ook de schoonmaakster die bij het appartement was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam was, toen ik het appartement niet binnen kon komen.

- Hele vervelende ‘putlucht’ in het appartement (niet weg te ventileren), maakte het verblijf van 4 nachten erg onaangenaam. - Na melding van de vervelende geur, kwam er geen reactie van de organisatie (ik heb alle cifons leeggehaald (daar zat geen troep in) de geur kwam, denk ik, vanuit de cv-ketel. De vraag is wanneer deze voor het laatst gecheckt is) - Rookmelders waren van het plafond gehaald (dus niet functioneel) - ik ben allergisch voor dons(veren) en had vooraf gevraagd of er dons-vrij beddengoed aanwezig was. De organisatie gaf aan dat al het beddengoed dons bevat. Ik heb mijn eigen beddengoed dus meegesleept, bleek bij aankomst dat geen enkele van de dekens en kussens dons bevatten… heel frustrerend. - In het keukendeel waar de stank vandaan kwam, was een schuifdeur naar een balkon/dakterras, deze kon alleen niet open (dat was fijn geweest om te kunnen ventileren). De deurklink was verwijderd, je kan naar buiten kijken door het gat. - onderhoud is hier wel echt een ding; het hele appartement was behoorlijk doorleefd, dat hoeft helemaal niet erg te zijn, maar het is erg jammer voor een appartement met zover potentieel. Ik denk dat dit komt omdat deze organisatie heel erg veel panden in haar bezit heeft en er vooral zover mogelijk geld uit wil trekken… Nog een tip voor de organisatie: de dakgoot aan de voorzijde staat helemaal vol met water. Dit gaf mij geen overlast, maar kan voor vochtproblemen zorgen in het hele pand op de langere termijn.

Sehr große Wohnung, Lage, die Küche hatte alles, sogar Kaffee:), ausreichend kühl trotz der Hitze draußen

Nur ein Kissen war bezogen, die anderen nicht. Das Licht im Badezimmer sollte gewechselt werden. Es war schwierig zu duschen, ohne das komplette Badezimmer naß zu machen
