Good location with flights of stairs

Amazing location for sure, good space for staying with friends/family. They have the basics, kitchenware, coffee, tea. A lot of space 2 sofa bed, 1 queen bed+single bed in the main bed room, and 1 queen bed in the extra room below.

Just keep in mind that there are stairs (narrow as well) that you will need to climb up/down. If you have huge luggage please keep this in mind. Kettle was not clean, it’s not dirty per se but just a lot of calcium buildup that we’d rather not use.

Disappointed

Great location. Apartment is bright and could be relatively spacious if they do not clutter the bedroom with two large double beds.

Very steep and narrow stairs. Too little space in "kitchen". Dry rack stands over stove plates. Bedroom door could not close on account of extra double bed in the room. Bathroom door also opens against other double bed for the same reason. Only one towel hook for 4 or more people. Mattrasses and pillows were very uncomfortable and bedding were not ironed and even put on inside out on one bed. We were led to believe it was a two bedroom flat, but the other bedroom was not part of thes artment but on a different level on its own without even a toilet. If the person using that room needs a bathroom in the middle of the night he has to leave his room and wake the people in the apartment to let him in and out to use the bathroom.

Set your expectations right: good enough if you're not overly critical

I was alone, and the place was just totally fine for that (for 2 people it is also good). Given the sleeping arrangements, I wouldn't opt for this with more than 2 (although there is another separate bedroom (without toilet/bathroom) that I did nog use at all. The location is good. And the price was at a sharp point with competition, so then you can't be overly critical about the downsides.

It's not very handy to pick up the keys quite elsewhere. The stairs are steep and narrow, so this is a small handicap for those with chunky suitcases. The 2 double beds in the main bedroom are sub-optimal. The place is very noise sensitive: one night it was hard to sleep due to people on a higher floor making noise, and you can hear a lot from the street.

Not great with a toddler

Was on the 4th floor, very steep stairs , very tough for a family with a toddler, shower was a floor lower, had to go and get the key 2km away from this place, pictures do not correspond to reality of flat - expect cheaper ikea curtains etc, had to make the big bed myself as I just got a bag with sheets

Visiting Antwerp

The best was location, just few steps from central square. The room was specious and clean.

I was surprised there was no TV. But the biggest disappointment, were the rules. No parties or loud music is perfectly fine, but you can't invite anybody to the room (even for an hour or two), otherwise you may be charged even up to 950 euro (sic!!) I thought I am in China or Belarus, not in Belgium. Very stricked rule and when I asked through Whatsapp if I could invite somebody for max 2 hours, finally I did not get respond....

Extremely expensive for such a Bad stay ...

The living room is just like the pictures. Close to the old town .

You have to collect the keys from a totally different location that looks like a storage room. Unfortunately there was a very arrogant person that gave us the keys. Even that we had informed more than 10 days in advance that we will need both bedrooms I didn't get any answer from the property and we were charged extra 50e without receipt... Extremely uncomfortable "beds" more than thrown old mattresses one over the other... Very dirty pillows The other bedroom is on another floor in a blind depressive "room". Probably it was a storage room there. You have to find out yourself how to open the radiators for the heat. It was very cold there. Kitchen was not working. Hard to find the entrance. Rude notes to the doors regrading your stay. Extremely expensive for such a Bad stay ...

Not clean, not cosy, too many unnecessary house rules. The place looks only about making money, not about welcoming guests in a personalised way. That’s why they are apparently proud to manage 200 of these appartements

There were no towels in the room. It was difficult to get through to ask for towels. Answered the call for the fifth time. The room is not clean enough: dirty surfaces, dirty windows, bed linen not the first freshness.

Superb

The apartment we booked wasn't good for our group of 3 adults, so, we contacted the owners and they could not have been more helpful. They were able to accommodate us in another apartment that was much better for us. Both apartments were close to everything we needed, clean and well equipped. They were both light and spacious with toilettries and cleaning supplies included. The staff were truly amazing.

Central location.

Our friend was in a room down the stairs. The only access to a toilet she had was our en suite which is awkward in the middle of the night. They have squeezed two double beds in one room so the door doesn't close so the light just streams in.

Central to the city.

Firstly we booked a 2-bedroom apartment only to be told on arrival that what we actually get is a one bedroom apartment with a separate room with no facilities on a different floor of the building this is not what we booked. Secondly we were a group of friends, there were two of us staying but they refused to give more than one set of keys which is Ludacris. If you go as a group as other people we know who booked with this company were. They were in a group of 5 or 6 were told they could only get one set of keys. The flat we booked was meant to sleep up to 7 people you can't have a booking for 7 people and only give them one set of keys that's just stupidity Even families want to go out and do things separately you can't spend your entire vacation stuck together due to not knowing how to get back into the flat if you wish to. Lastly the list of Rules we're like something out of a concentration camp. We rented the apartment as we will meeting up with people from all over Europe who we haven't seen for a while. We were told in the rules that you could not let a single person in even to drop something off or use the toilet without having your booking cancelled without refund this is ridiculous the whole point of booking an apartment is so that you can socialise. I took a photo of the rules and will post them in this review. I understand the logic behind it that they want to keep things like parties from occurring and there were notices literally on every surface advising you if you hear any loud noise to call them immediately. But having a couple of friends in for a drink in post-covid time surely should not be a problem but it is for this company so if you want to social life don't book this apartment.

Nice location.

Great location

Had to pick up the keys from a different location 15mins from the place. The furniture was cheap and charmless. Passive aggressive signs of what was forbidden everywhere. We felt more tolerated than welcome at this place. One of those holiday flats which are a purely there for profit maximization.

generally clean and well furnished very specious apartment with kitchenette (over, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, etc) nice location and 3-5 mins walk to the nearest metro station.

reception office 15 mins walk from the apartment and 15 mins walk from the nearest metro station. it was very tiresome with luggage and antwerp cobble stone roads and very narrow pavements bedroom radiator not functioning, but overall heating is good - when doors left open it was properly nice warm. the bed: mattress(160cm wide) was bigger than bed frame (140cm wide) - not very comfortable on the edges not handicapped or people with disabilities friendly. we stayed at the 3rd floor - difficult to climb narrow steep stairs. but that is typical in Flanders - not particularly a problem of the property.

Great location for Antwerp old town but pick a different apartment.

We had to go about 1km from the apartment address to collect the keys. This was not made clear at the time of booking - we would have cancelled if we had known this beforehand.

The apartment was sold as 2 bedrooms but the second bedroom was on a different floor accessed via a communal staircase. The only bathroom meant walking through the main apartment bedroom so in effect the second room was not usable. Even on the main bedroom the door would not shut (blocked by extra bed) so we couldn't even use the lounge as a separate sleeping area. So a 2 bedroom apartment is basically a massive studio! None of these points were included in the property description.

Great location, facilities and staff attitude.

House cleaning. There is urine in the toilet and it is not flushed, indicating that the toilet has not been cleaned. There were dozens of mosquitoes in the flat, and I was bitten 20 times in two nights. My friend couldn't sleep due to the noise of mosquitoes at 4 o'clock, and she went to sleep in the small room downstairs, killing more than ten mosquitoes in that room in 10 minutes.

Misleading description.

Convenient location and clean.

The apartments are advertised as 2-bedroom apartments, but what you get is a 1-bedroom apartment with use of another bedroom in a different part of the building – on a different floor! This is totally misleading. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment. We needed the convenience of having the two bedrooms in the same unit – which we would expect when booking a 2-bedroom apartment. For families who need to be together, the separate bedroom this is utterly useless. Also, the apartment was missing some equipment and there was no tumble dryer as advertised. We have since complained to the owners and Booking.com. We had hoped the owners might compensate us by refunding the difference in cost to the 2 bedroom apartment we paid for and the 1 bedroom apartment we got (we did not use the separate room as it was totally impractical). They have not been helpful in this matter.
