Terrible experience

Small stairs to get in, last floor. Difficult for luggage and elder people, all dirty in the entrance . Finally we did not stay we had to move to another place and until today we did not got any feedback from landlord , dont even question about any refund, we lost all!! . Plus need to pick up the keys 10 minutes away BY CAR!!! There they charge you 18 euros that they dont even offer or agree to return since we did not stay in the place! Looks like a scam for me.

A major letdown!

The building is in a lovely part of the old town, but don’t be misled by that. The apartment’s ‘fashionable’ label is completely misleading—what you’ll find inside is outdated, broken, and far from stylish. The place was dirty, had an unpleasant smell, and the cleaning staff was rude and unprofessional. The host was uncooperative, and the inconvenience of having to collect keys across the city, while dragging your luggage, only made things worse. A better system, like keyless entry, is badly needed.”´

My stay was a major letdown, as the apartment’s condition completely contradicted its advertised ‘fashionable’ title, leading to a thoroughly unpleasant experience.

Ok for a one night stay

Collecting the keys was very easy and the team was very helpful. They gave us very clear instructions on how to reach the property. The location is great and close to many bars & restaurants.

The beds were really uncomfortable. The mattresses are completely caving in, so it's not flat but creates a whole in the middle. Definitely needs an update.

Would definitely come back!

The location was very conveniently placed in the center of town, close to shopping and eating facilities and numerous other attractions. The staff helped with parking facilities, they were very friendly and helpful, also checking back with me via messages after booking, very personal contact and service. The apartment was spacious, clean, well prepared and absolutely best value for the low price.

The stairs to access the flat are quite narrow and steep, not a problem for us but something you should be aware of beforehand, in case you travel with handicap, large luggage or a bike (as we did, we did manage to bring it in, but it was a bit of a trouble).

Very nice place, but very dirty and smelly

The guys who give the keys for the flat are very nice and friendly. The location is very good. It is in the city center. The beds are comfortable. The furniture is nice. The kitchen is well equipped. The view is not bad.

There was an used menstrual pad under the sink and it was stinking very badly. One of the bins (the one in the bathroom) wasn't empty. The windows were dirty. The wifi didn't work. There were rules that made me feel unwelcomed. I understand the importance of rules, but they could be written more nicely. The keys should be taken from another location that is about 20 min away by walking. The button of the hair dryer was broken.

Good location big aparment

You have to pick up the keys from another location first but if you arrive by train is almost on the way. The apartment was big with space. The kitchen had everything I needed.

The wifi wasnt working. The place was clean but not deep clean. You have some steep stairs to get into the apartment if you have a lot of luggage it can be very uncomfortable but if you dont it is only a few stairs.

It was fun and no on complained.

it was very calm when I went to pick up the keys. They were very friendly and explained the apypertement from photos. I forgot my AirTag on the keys from the apypertement and I wanted to pick them up the next day and they were okay with all my options so I just went the next day picked them up and they made time for me although it was busy then.

The apypertement was a bit messy the ceilings were dirty but everything you touch was clean. the shower was nice although it smelled a bit and all the doorknobs where broken.

Pleasant

very well located. pleasant

Flat with 2 bedrooms yes but one bedroom is on its own on a half floor. and you are only given one key. so you either leave the door unlocked or you are locked inside. The description doesn’t say the 2 bedrooms are not in the same flat. we used a sofa bed instead which not very comfortable but it was the best solution. the 1st night was good, however beware of groups of stupid young men who cannot read the flat « rules » at the weekend. The flats in the residence can accommodate 10 people (sofa beds and extra mattresses under beds, with the dust) and when a large group of drunken, noisy, (pot)smoking hoons create havoc despite asking them to keep it down, 3 times in 8 hours it makes your stay less pleasant. You can ring the « night guards » for help… but not after 4:30 am. We were looking for a nicely located flat with a bit of space. which is what we found. We should have realized that if it can accommodate 10 people you are likely to have cretinous neighbours, especially at the weekend.

It was bad..

The guy that checked us in was very welcoming and extremly nice. He explained to us everything very clearly, and was very helpful with any additional questions we had.

Right after entering the apartment we could smell heavy cigarette smell which lingered in the whole apartment after previous guests. The toilet and floor were dirty, and it was full of mosquitos. My friend had a really bad sleep because of them. The toilet flush was bearly holding there and the most disturbing thing was, we were not able to lock our apartment from outside. Thank god there was an extra bedroom that belonged to our apartment with separate entrance and functional lock so we were able to leave our belongings there durring the day.

Amazing

It has been a pleasure staying here. The apartment was very clean, well situated, and had all types of services. It was 3 min away (walking) from the city center and surrounded by shops and bars. The stuff was also super kind and they were available 24/7 ready to help. I do really recommend it!!

Goed voor hoogstens één nacht.

De locatie van het appartement was het best. De rest was vrij triestig. De foto's op de advertentie correspondeerden ook niet met het appartement dat we gekregen hebben.

De zitbank was doorzeten, de matrassen doorlegen. Er was een koffiezet, maar de koffiekan ontbrak. De foto's van de advertentie toonden een volledig ander en mooier appartement.

Het was ruim, voldoende plaats, schitterende locatie

De staat van de matrassen, waren allemaal erg doorgezakt, niet meer waardig om te laten in overnachten. We kregen helaas een verkeerde sleutel mee waardoor we niet konden afsluiten. Service en contact was wel super en er werd alles aan gedaan om dit zo vlug mogelijk in orde te brengen.

Me pareció barato y ahora entiendo el por que

La ubicación del apartamento es ideal para ir a visitar el casco antiguo de Amberes a tan solo unos metros caminando, tambien la estación de metro y varios supermercados quedan cerca.

El agua de la ducha no funcionaba y si lo hacía, era a ratos, tardaba en calentarse y no tenia mucha potencia, además de que enseguida se atascaba la tubería y hacía que el agua saliera completamente de la ducha.

Totale mislukking

De foto's lijken totaal niet op waar je terecht komt. Wij kwam in een haal ander appartement waar de hygiene zeer, zeer, zeer slecht was. De bedden waren vies, de bank viel net niet uit elkaar en het stonk verschrikkelijk in de kamer. Ik vind het zeer in de buurt komen van oplichterij.

De bedden waren doorgezakt, we denken vlooien, de meubels waren vies&oud, de gordijnen zaten vol vlekken, en niet goed bevestigd. Zo waren er meer zaken niet in orde. Het huis was zeer gehorig, als de bovenburen langs liepen trilde de deur in de sponning en was iedereen wakker.

Mooie locatie wandel afstand tot het centrum, apartment was niet als op de foto's beijche versleten, voor een overnachting was goed,snnachst hoort lawaai van het airco. Voor de rest was alles goed en vlot verlopen.
