Hattie's Cottage

Hattie's Cottage is a gorgeous little house just outside the gates of the old city in Lincoln. There's a great pub just down the street. The location is ideal, outside the bustle of the city itself, but just a five minute walk to the main sites. The cottage is a nice size and nicely designed. High end fixtures in the kitchen and bath, and a cute little back yard made it a lovely place to stay. Also, a neighbourhood cat came to visit us in the back yard, completing our picture of English tranquility. Our hosts also provided great info about Lincoln. We went to Olé Olé Tapas on their recommendation, and it is seriously one of the best tapas restaurants I've been to, which is saying a lot!

Great location in terms of being able to walk into town. Owners thoughtfully provided fans which were very much needed! Well equipped and comfortable 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Hattie's Holiday Cottages. Great communications with our host, Chris. Our objective was to write and we certainly did! The comfortable cottage and quiet environment provided the perfect setting for inspiration to write our books. We also did some sightseeing whilst in Lincoln and what a fabulous city! So much to see and do and some delightful shops and tearooms in nearby Steep Hill. Thanks for a relaxing and productive stay. Will come again.

The location is excellent. Communication with Chris was very easy and prompt. The house has everything you could need. Very comfortable. The back is lovely for sitting outside listening to the swifts flying overhead 🙂

We wiped the fridge and kitchen surfaces when we arrived and gave the downstairs a hoover.
