we loved our stay and Maggie was kind and informative - a brilliant place,beautiful house and city!

the location was perfect - top of the hill - the house was beautiful, clean, appointed to a high level, comfortable. My contact with the host was speedy and efficient and small problem calmly resolved. Nothing missing - a great success.

2 bedrooms had great, comfortable mattresses but unfortunately the front room 'Austrian double' mattress was very uncomfortable. The decor was exceptionally stylish and clean but not 'cosy' and I suspect that a few more curtains and a fire might help - especially in winter stays.

This is close to being 5*. Plus points: Light, airy, spacious Very comfortable downstairs Sympathetic conversion Sharp knives & lots of chopping boards

Mattresses far too soft - need replacing Main curtain in front bedroom is far too narrow - it is very difficult to get it to cover the whole window to block out street lights. There should be two curtains of this width at this window! Lack of curtains at many of the downstairs windows - privacy issues Too much crockery is chipped Curtain pole in the middle bedroom is coming away from the wall Sink in downstairs WC drains very slowly - needs unblocking

The location was excellent. The house was amazing. Very spacious, very clean and plenty of Utilities. Maggie was very helpful and kept in touch. I would highly recommend to all my family and friends.

Amazing property & perfectly located

We loved staying here. Its a beautiful property in a fantastic location - right next to the castle & cathedral and yet a peaceful oasis. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Maggie was very easy to communicate with and provided lots of recommendations and local information which was great. Loads of fabulous restaurants & pubs on the door step, something for everyone. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Lincoln, absolutely perfect!

Exceptional stay & effeminately be back xx

Stayed for our daughter's graduation, so only few minutes walk from the Castle & Cathedral- so great location. House was stunning & had everything you needed for your stay including tea bags, coffee, sugar & biscuits for arrival. Beds were comfy, walk in shower was great, kitchen fully furnished and fast wi-fi. Parking permit for nearby parking . Clear instructions from Maggie. Highly recommended & will definitely come back in the not to distant future.

A fun time in an excellent city location.

Excellent location near the castle and cathedral. Well appointed and beautifully renovated. Close to a number of restaurants and cafes.

It has the WOW factor

It had the WOW factor as soon as you walked in. Upstairs bathroom fabulous and 3 great bedrooms. Outdoor space with table and castle above a bonus Location great able to explore old and new Lincoln.

An outstanding part of Lincoln & a great apartment to stay in. We had a great 3 days!

Location, you can’t get any closer to the cathedral or the castle & the standard of the fit-out inside.. superb.

Parking could be an issue.. we were extremely lucky to be able to use street parking with the “residents only” voucher, supplied by the host.

It’s on a very steep hill so wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility problems but we managed it.

Gorgeous house and location. Host was lovely to deal with and very responsive.

Not a dislike, just a thought as we stayed for a week. Things like a clothes dryer/hanger and maybe a new toaster.

The position is central but Quiet with on road parking The property itself Castle View is a very high standard throughout well laid out I can highly recommend a family break here. we all felt at home

Stunning property - well worth it

Absolutely beautifully maintained, clean and comfortable! Lovely little spot to sit in the garden and hosts had left us some firewood for the fire pit (didn’t end up using as it was so warm). Great location for the centre.

The ONLY downside and it is very minor is that the dogs next door had obviously fouled on their side of the fence so in the sun it smelled quite badly when in the garden but I know the property can’t really do much about that! Luck of the draw I guess
