Great apartment with beautiful views

Ingrid was extremely welcoming, and provided great detail well in advance so we knew how to contact her and get the apartment keys easily. She was very flexible with our arrival time, and provided us with ideas for some great hikes and other activities in the area! The apartment is very well appointed, with beautiful views of the lake and only a minute walk from the town square.

Nothing that Ingrid could have impacted, but the weather in March was quite gloomy! This is also an offseason for Hallstatt, which was great because tourists are more limited, however it also means most of the stores and restaurants had limited hours.

This super cosy, beautiful studio apartment is just in the city center of a small town: Hallstatt. It is at the lake, so from your apartment´s windows you can admire the lake and the mountains every day and feel grateful for that beautiful scenery. Also you can use the balcony to enjoy the sun rise in the mornings, having your hot coffee. Just to go to the balcony, you have to step out of apartment and step in to another small building, which I guess is meant for storage. But this was totally ok for me and my daughter. I was very happy, that in the kitchen there was equipped with absolutely everything you could imagine to cook wonderful meals. Also there were such equippment, that I did not even know what purpose they were for. I am saying, that this was extraordinary kitchen for masterchefs! And also I have never seen any accommodation which has so many good and useful things to use. Warm bathrobes for 1 people, slippers, hygine products for ladies, board games and cards for the dark evenings. Especially nice to play cards or other games after physically challenging hiking in the mountains, which we did every day, enjoying the beautyful, colorful autumn views at the mountains (Alpes). We loved that there were lots of candles, so you just light them up and enjoy cosy evening with good music, playing card games with your loved ones. The house lady, Ingrid, is super kind and very smart. She made sure, that we would feel like royalties at her place. We could not say enough good words about her.... she is just a wonderful person!!!

Sublime

Brilliant location in the heart of Hallstatt with a stunning view across the lake to the village of Obertraun. Apartment was very well equipped, clean and good size for a couple. Short walk to cafes/restaurants, tourist office and ferry terminal at one end and bus terminal, grocery store and service station at the other a definite plus. Owner/host Ingrid was fantastic throughout, from initial booking and the duration of our stay, with detailed check-in/check-out instructions, helpful local advice and unexpected but welcome laundry service. Had a phenominal time, would stay here again in a heartbeat if opportunity smiles!

Access by vehicle to the apartment's parking space was a challenge at times, particularly having to enter through the controlled bus parking area (given the car entry was cordoned between 10am and 6pm). Some form of resident vehicle identification that parking attendants are aware of would be helpful here to avoid access problems as a result of language difficulties.

Cozy apartment with nice lakeview

One of the best apartments we have stayed in. Exceptionally clean and cozy, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s a lovely place offering a nice view of the lake. Most of all, Ingrid is the best host, very kind and helpful. Thanks to Ingrid, we’ve enjoyed every minute of our stay in Hallstatt.

The perfect getaway which lived up to all our expectations.

The property has a brilliant picturesque view and is superbly decorated and welcoming. It is the perfect place to stay in Hallstatt with ease of access to the bus terminal, local restaurants and attractions including the Salt Mines etc.

Wonderful vacation in a beautiful flat with a panoramic view to the lake

We loved the location and the view to the lake was beautiful The apartment is small but very well organaized and very homey atmosphere comfortable and beautiful Ingrid is a wonderful host and it was a pleasure being there Also there is a parking only for Ingrid's guests which is great

Home away from home, more beautiful than imagined, such a wonderful feel about this place, Location spectacular, apartment exceeded our expectations, this Lady Ingrid one of the genuine people still here, if you decided to arrive with just the clothes on your back you will have everything in this little hidden gem you require at your finger tips, this lady has kitted the apartment out as if you were in your own home. I cannot complement it and her enough , do get some groceries on the way in supermarket before you reach beautiful Hallstatt as there are no corner shops and supermarket here only opens when suits the owner. Its close to amenities, food in restaurants very high standards, the salt mines a mist, unfortunately giant ice place was closed in March on our arrival, the weather was exceptional 21* on our way up to Austria from Munich, 14* on the slopes so just our look no chance if a last minute ski.

Possibly the time of year we arrived very quiet evening/late night, in fact we had alot if walking about to even find a place to eat/drink after 6/7, definitely not a party place in March, if thats what your expecting

Exceptional

Everything was just superb! The location just fantastic. The view! Couldn’t wish anything better. Incredible stay. Very clean, comfortable and fully equipped. Our host Ingrid was amazing. Helped with all the info we needed to explore the area. She really was helpful. Even made tasty cheesecake for us. I am very much looking forward to next visit and would highly recommend this apartment. It looks much more beautiful in real then on the photos. Thank you for everything Ingrid. X

Ingrid es la mejor anfitriona que me ah tocado, realmente estuvo atenta los días anteriores a mi llegada, el apto tiene todo lo que necesitas y más, para disfrutar de la estadía.
