It was a good stay. I got there on Halloween and the bar was slammed so I didn’t get a chance to interact with the staff

It was conveniently located and easy to find. There was stuff to do at the bar downstairs and you can get a meal if needed. it was cozy with curtains for privacy when sleeping which I loved. I felt very comfortable. I love that. There was a private bathroom in the room and it was easily accessible.

I know it’s unavoidable to miss something at times, however, the initial bed I got the wall was dirty next to it. I told the staff and I was taking care of immediately and I was moved to another bed.

The Hilton of hostels : such a great place in a street where the Magdalene tower makes you think

I love this hostel and it's female only dorm. I love the design and if you want privacy you close the curtain alongside your bunk. Too hot for me to do that and I liked that I could see the open window and feel the fresh air. The set up is cost effective, comfortable, safe. Ladders to top bunk sturdy stuff: important for up and down and not to disturb other ladies sleeping. Pub below : great at weekends...party on. Balcony for hostellers: great ...met some pretty interesting people out there

The guests ? Not the hostels fault.....you get them in every dorm: some chick in a huff and hates the world, an eastern European exhibitionist running round half naked , a nervous girl who accepted the sponge cake but not the invitation to talk........aye hostelling same as it ever was

Good bed and blanket, provided towels and overall clean room.

Pillow was too thin, so bring another one if you sleep with 1 more pillow. Also shampoo and body wash could have been provided at the bathroom.

Everything. Very convenient for groups, nice private room with en-suite, location is great, just a few minutes walk to the town. Staff very friendly and the pub below is definitely worth checking out. Very friendly staff and coded entry to main door and bedroom doors.

Beautiful location, beautiful facility

Very clean and updated facilities, handy locker drawer below bunk. I loved the atmosphere of the pub downstairs. The location was great for me with the ease of my rental car. Beautiful location, beautiful facility. Thank you for a pleasant trip.

Good hostel for a night's rest

Bed was comfortable, plus curtains to give privacy. Clean bathroom in the room.

There wasn't a refrigerator or microwave for guests. Also, when I was having a beer in the pub downstairs at about 5 pm, an older, heavyset guy who I assume worked there started spraying Raid insect killer in the air because he said the window was open. So I walked out quickly as I didn't want to breathe in insect killer. There were only a few people there at the time, but I thought it was idiotic. Maybe it's an Irish thing to do.

The location is a bit awkward to get to, being right at the top of a steep hill. After a day of walking around, that hill was horrible.

Professional staff, modern space.

I liked that the staff was attentive, I checked in, went to my bed, and there was another guest laying on my bed. I went back down stairs and asked to be moved from this space, no questions, they moved me. Obviously, the dynamic would have been tense if i have been 'escorted' to that bed in that space. No protest or convincing, I was moved.

Well, it WAS above a pub, so def a ear plug type of space for early to bed types, but this was fairly obvious to me on check in, so not really anything to complain about.

Comfortable to hangout during the day but full of tossing and turning at night

The beds were comfortable enough and enclosed in a private space which was nice. With access to usb/plug and a light.

It was dreadfully hot in the room with multiple people in it. The bar underneath has little to no sound proofing so you can hear everything clearly as the music and screaming gets louder as the night goes on. I assumed it would be a pub not a nightclub. No kitchen or lounge area.

Location. Kind and helpful staff. Great spot. It was a guest who made me feel very unwelcome and made the atmosphere in the room very unpleasant.

A kettle and somewhere to cook a decent meal would be a huge plus. Luckily, Centra does decent enough food. The only other thing that made my stay unpleasant was about guest. They say familiarity breeds contempt and the contempt was very apparent. But where it came from? Who knows. We didn’t know each other but that was hate in her face. She made it so uncomfortable I left 2 nights early.

Peggy Moore’s – The best place to stay when visiting Drogheda!

It was my second time at Peggy Moore's. The hostel is lovely! Very comfortable, very clean, just perfect! The girl who checked us in was so nice. The staff is always great. The pub is fantastic, my favorite in Drogheda and one of my favorites in Ireland, is a must visit if you are in Drogheda. The toasties are so good! I hope to come back soon!

Fabulous!!!

Probably the best hostel I ever stayed in! It was super clean, modern and comfortable. The little bag of sweets on the pillow was a lovely touch. The room was warm and cosy and I had a lovely meal in the pub downstairs. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, thank you! 10/10

It was NOT an issue for me, but just to make people aware that when I stayed there it was a Saturday night and the music downstairs went on until quite late (understandably). Not a problem for me, just worth noting.

Definitely stay here

Really nice comfortable beds and excellent shower, towels provided and a welcome pack of sweeties, just right after climbing the hill to get there. Good atmosphere and quiet, well, even the rugby match downstairs didn't disturb the peace. I would totally recommend this place, it's lovely. I slept extremely well. The staff were very busy in the bar with the rugby match but took a minute to answer my queries. I hope to return soon, it's a really nice place.

No cooking facilities, never mind, several confusions over what bed was mine, and someone had left a bottle of alcohol in the only luggage locker under the bunk so I thought the locker was in use.

The staff was tremendous....could not improve upon the customer service. They are also excellent communicators.

They initially placed me in a female room based on my name. The mistake was caught when I attempted to check in during the early morning hours so they placed me in a room so I could get some sleep however, I had to move rooms the next day.
