Great location with parking, clean, functional facilities run by kind, accommodating hosts.

Excellent location with parking and a complete breakfast. The facilities were clean and quiet. The hosts went beyond any expectation, were accommodating with an early check-in and so friendly that we have determined this is where we will stay moving forward on our annual trips.

I do not have any complaints about our four day stay and cannot say enough about the friendliness and assistance provided by the hosts.

Amazing property and location, very accommodating family who owns and manages the B&B.

The owners are exceptional and very hospitable. The breakfast each morning was great! The rooms are perfect size for a couple, with luggage. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms were modern. I have no complaints. The bus stop is right outside, and there’s a small gas station across the street with most any snack.

Perfect location and five star stay.

Easy to find. Easy parking. Lovely welcome. Comfortable beds, amazing shower, well appointed rooms at a comfortable temperature. Great breakfast, wonderful selection and very tasty food. Excellent value. Thank you for an outstanding stay.

Beautiful, gracious and lovely! You won't find a better place to stay.

Mai, Joe Joe, and Carl were AMAZING! Their hospitality began before we even arrived providing a google doc list of restaurants plus a helpful suggestion for laundry needs. From the moment we arrived we were treated so well. The breakfast each morning was super delish! I tried every menu item because we stayed 6 nights. My husband especially loved the omelet. Mai made sure to help us with a taxi to the train station and then Carl was kind enough to call the taxi as we were on our way back on the train (from Dublin). For some reason I was having trouble dialing the taxi service number and getting connected. Carl took care of it, and we were picked up upon our arrival. Mai was so personable. We chatted each day and learned about her family, the area and more. On our last day we had no plans to keep it flexible for us and provide time to pack and relax for our early flight home. Mai invited us to join her for a walk at Clougherhead. How kind! What a great walk and what a view! We saw so much of the area. We are so fortunate. Following our walk, we enjoyed a stop for coffee and toasties (ham, cheese & onion) with Mai and her husband Joe Joe (who met us there). I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Maple House B & B. It is a great location, beautiful amenities, but most importantly you are staying with a beautiful family who takes very good care of their guests. Thank you, thank you!!

Disappointing, not as advertised.

Owner Mai was very welcoming and dropped us in town at a nice dinner venue. Walk back to B&B was only 15 minutes. Clean and comfortable home.

Upon arrival we were asked what time we would like to come to breakfast which began at 7:30. Hostess Mai recommended 7:30 so we had ample time to drive to Dublin Airport for our flight. At 7:30 we went to breakfast and no one was there. There was hot water for tea but no coffee. A yummy menu was on the table but there was no one to prepare the meal. We left at 8:00. I notified B&B we left the key and also left without breakfast. I received a reply from the son who was apparently in charge of the breakfast, that he was just pulling in when we left and hope we understand the situation.as he was out late the night before. There was no effort to make even a small reimbursement for the inconvenience. We booked a B&B serving a full breakfast and did not receive the accommodations that we paid for.

Really nice B&B on the edge of Drogheda

Sparkling clean and quiet, which was a surprise, considering the location on a busy road. Really comfortable bed, big bathroom, great walk-in shower. The breakfast was absolutely superb. Best omelet I’ve had in Ireland, and I’ve had many! Super helpful hostess, with great local advice.

Maple House is a fabulous B & B. The rooms are very clean,comfortable & spacious. The breakfast & service was amazing. There is public transport right outside the door offering easy access into Dublin City Center. Highly recommend to all travellers.

Insufficient noise insulation

Spacious room and modern bathroom. Breakfast was fine. Friendly reception on arrival.

We had room 1 and noise insulation was insufficient. Phone calls and footsteps from rooms above and neighbouring were really loud at night and in the early morning, you could understand every spoken word. This wasn't because of inconsiderate behavior, rather the building just isn't adequate enough for hosting multiple groups of people. This had a negative impact on our comfort as noise reduced the quality of our sleep and because we felt bad talking or using the TV, knowing that other guests would hear us the same. At 170 Euros per night this was the most expensive B&B on our two-week trip through Ireland, but others were nicer.

This place is great. Lovely Hosts, Luxury room at a decent price. Lots of options for breakfast. Decent parking on-site. The TV had all the online options available which is very rare. Most of all, clean, tidy and up to date.

Everything was fantastic! The host couldn’t have been friendlier and gave a good tip about a local spot that was great. The room was very comfortable, amazing shower, well-appointed, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and great location. I will recommend and be back. One of the best places we have stayed!

Disappointing in light of reviews

High quality of furnishings. Pleasing ambience. Spacious room. Fully tiled, spacious shower room. Cleanliness very good. Quiet location, but on bus route to town centre. Breakfast cooked to order.

Shower took 5 minutes to produce hot-ish water. Unsightly black mould growing around where wall meets shower tray. Light does not illuminate mirror. Extractor fan didn't work. Only one available electrical socket, so kettle has to be carried across room and set on floor. Ample drawer storage but absolutely no hanging/wardrobe space. Breakfast's "scrambled eggs" resulted in a very unappetising, oily omelette. Barely edible.

Perfect Stay

Great family owned and operated business. Beautiful, clean facility and grounds. Bedroom on the top floor with a skylight was exceptional. Comfortably warm which we have not experincd in the last 3 weeks. Delicious breakfast with lots of healthy options in addition. Very easy walk to town.

Best B&B i've been to!!!!!

10/10 stay. As a lone female traveling for a medical course in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital I FELT VERY SAFE! The place is a 10 min walk from the hospital and right across is a petrol station+grocery shop+pharmacy. They also keep their front door closed 24/7 which adds to safety! The room was big and exceptionally clean and better than many hotels i've tried. I didnt get to try the breakfast as I always woke up late and had to run to the hospital quickly but it smelled delicious anyway! On my last day the kind house lady (I wish I got her name) packed me some fresh fruits before I headed outside because I missed breakfast again. It felt like home 🥰

Maple House was a fantastic place to stay. Parking was easy, the bed was extremely comfortable and the block out curtains great. The breakfast was very tasty and lots to choose from. Host was exceptional - very friendly, helpful and easy to talk too. The garden out the back was amazing! Good location, easy to walk to places. Would definitely recommend Maple House.
