Nice quiet location, 5 mins walk from a great pub, as they do not offer evening meals, but the breakfast was great and the staff were lovely and friendly.

Loved the grounds and location. Room was clean . A tasty and nutritious breakfast dialing, Mostly we loved the staff - friendly, helpful, attentive and personable.

Going to the races at Laytown its a great spot.

The breakfast was good plenty of choice, the room was comfortable great matterest and the staff were nice. Used the pool, steam room and sauna there's also a gym.

The view from the room was ground floor at the back this time not overlooking the gardens on my visit last time.

Swimming pool you had to walk across two car parks to get to it, my room was ground floor and would hear cars constantly driving, room wasn’t great and quite old, too warm, reception didn’t answer the phone on several occasions, bar area is very old, breakfast selection is terrible and not very good, hot breakfast is limited, overall I would not recommend the hotel, it seems run down and they have no intention of investing in it or have a level of care for the hotel at all

Short but bittersweet.

Its our 4th visit over the last 2 years. But probably our last :( Staff are lovely at check in and at the bar as always. They keep the hotel going. Beds are very comfortable.

For such a beautiful period building and gardens it's so disappointing to see how little care or investment from the owners is made. It's literally being left to rot. A dried out river bed surrounding a lovely slate bridge. Half fallen trees. Outdated interior paint and carpets. There's so much potential for it to be so much more. A fine gilded age property. Breakfast is tired and tasteless.
