Previously lived in and loved by the host, this central Exeter house is brimming with warm furnishings and useful amenities. The open-plan kitchen and table are ideal for a family meal, and we love the cosy log burner in the living room and the airy boho-styling in the bedrooms. In terms of location, it’s the perfect spot to explore the city and the surrounding Devonshire countryside. Home truths: *There is no allocated parking for this property, only pay-and-display street parking (although parking is free between 6pm and 8am) – the host can provide one parking permit on request – there are two car parks close by for around £11 per day *The host asks you to use slippers or indoor shoes when inside (if possible) *There is a dedicated office space for remote working *The garden is small but catches the sun in the evening *The property is in a quiet, residential area and would suit families – ask your host about a cot if you're travelling with a baby *Parties and extra guests are strictly prohibited *There's a streaming service as well as Freeview TV *You'll need to buy your own wood for the log burner
