Beautiful Waterside House on Exeter Quay

Fantastic location on the river. Beautiful promenade for a stroll or run. My kids enjoyed using their scooters along the river. There were also several great bakeries literally 2 min away like the Ridge Coffee Shop, Between Bread and Boatyard Cafe Bakery. Each of them served delicious baked goods!! Also a easy 15 min stroll into town. Host was amazing and responsive

Fantastic location

Upstairs window couldn’t be opened which wasn’t idea as the weather was very hot. Outside could have been weeded and a bit tidier.

Fabulous location on the quayside near restaurants, shops and activities. Walkable in to the City and you are also immediately on cycling/walking paths along the river/canal away from the City to great pubs and countryside. We walked to Double Lock. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. It had everything we needed for a two night family stay. The instructions were clear and the stay was very smooth. The top floor master bedroom is huge with a wonderful outlook to the river. The second floor lounge shares the same view and the rocking chair in the bay window is great to watch the rowers go by. Two other double bedrooms, one ensuite. There's also a downstairs WC. Top floor bathroom is Jack and Jill style with access from master bedroom or the landing. This has a bath, and over bath shower with good pressure. We didn't cook so can't comment on kitchen facilities but we took heed of previous comments, noting no dishwasher. Teaspoons had been replenished. Plenty of glassware for us but did note only one prosecco glass.

A few little things needed fixing (a bedroom blind, window latch, under cupboard kitchen light) but it didn't affect our stay at all. We informed the host so they can organise repairs.

Location and parking

We would not have gone to your property if we had known there were only 2 bathrooms. It clearly stated 5 on advert. We chose your place over others as we wanted a bathroom for each bedroom. The advert said 5 bathrooms. It also says 2 ensuites. In fact there were 2 bathrooms and one toilet. One exclusive ensuite and one shared - that was not clear. We felt lied too. I informed host but they didn't get back to me. Other issues we had were:- Very wobbly table and only 4 chairs (we booked for 5!) Generally little grubby - carpets dirty, broken tiles, water marks on ceiling etc.. Not enough glasses & poor quality equipment. No effort with recycling.
