A lovely safe home in the heart of the city centre offering a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The property was very clean, homely and welcoming. As the property was in a gated community we felt safe and secure. The location was perfect - a 5 minute walk into the city centre and even closer were a wide of range of bars and restaurants to suit any taste. The view of the quay is amazing and was very calming and relaxing.

Ideal location if you want to enjoy the Quay!

The location was fantastic and having parking made a big difference. We enjoyed our stay and exploring the quay.

With a bit of TLC is would be fantastic. Having bins in the bathroom / bedrooms would be great and there’s some water damage

A great choice for visiting Exeter.

Great location with spacious accommodation. Having a parking space is so convenient. There are two bathrooms and one cloak room with WC.

Lots of stairs as you would expect in a town house, also steep steps leading into the property.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location. The whole family loved this property and have asked if we can return next time we’re in the area. It felt very spacious and comfortable with lots of places to relax. Great views over the quay to watch the world go by.

Great spot please give the house a little TLC before we next visit

Stayed here previously it’s a beautiful spot and the house is really nice and clean - living room is a lovely spot to spend time and watch the world go by

the house could benefit from a little TLC in places we had a blocked sink in the main bathroom - we could use the other bathroom sink but it wasn’t ideal. Few areas felt like they could be updated to make it feel more welcoming and homely but we do like it here a lot

Homely base to explore historic Exeter from.

Comfortable and spacious town house with homely touches and decor. In a great location overlooking The Quay, great base to explore Exeter on foot with good choice of restaurants, bars and independent shops nearby. Loved sitting in or out and people watching. Situated in a gated community with private parking space. Host accommodated a later check out on the Sunday morning.

Beds comfortable but found the pillows too high. Only one teaspoon in the kitchen. House this size / quality would benefit from having a dishwasher.

Location was excellent and felt very safe. Superb views over the river.

Beautiful property in a great location

The location was perfect, right next to the quay. The gated community made it feel very safe. The house was interesting with plenty of space and very clean.

It was difficult to find the way in when arriving on foot. There seemed to be some things missing such as glasses in the kitchen. There was no property guide in the house. We had little communication with the property owners.

This is a gem absolutely stunning, the attention to detail is amazing, the beds are fantastic so comfy and fabulous bedding and towels best we’ve ever had anywhere , spotlessly clean , the location is second to none on the quayside great for restaurants and cafes and bars , loved this place and will definitely will rerun, loved it

Well priced, pretty good bet for a short break.

It was good. Quaint and pleasant. Superb location. We are a family of 4 with teenagers looking at the uni. So it suited us. Good communication and instructions for entering property.

Double bed on the top floor was ok but not super comfortable. No wine glasses or dishwasher or tea spoons. Shower was a bit hot / cold unreliable. There was dust etc under the rug under the top floor although generally it was pretty clean.

Minor points - no teaspoons, no bedside tables in large bedroom (furniture arranged to optimise view from the bed I guess) Stairs a bit daunting if you are a bit older or less mobile.Narrow access to second bedroom's en-suite.

Nothing at all if I was being very fussy I’d say a dishwasher and sky sports wouldn’t go a miss but in all seriousness we didn’t really need either!

We had a really relaxing stay and we hope to be back.

We had a few problems understanding how to work the television, how to open the front door and how to turn on the shower. Some instructions would have been helpful. We are just not used to all this modern technology! However, we had a phone number to call and the person we spoke to helped us a lot.
