Vesta View

Of course the setting near Hadrians view was so beautiful. Long views through with large windows Property looked old, reclaimed stone. The interior quality and amenities could not be better

Asking people who could be 10 to vacate at 9:30 is bonkers. Perhaps the owners hope you leave the evening before. I did get an extension by paying extra£120 for two and a half hours!

Beautiful cottage with the most amazing view and had everything and anything you wanted. Great experience and if we ever go that side in big numbers I would defo book this place. Kevin and Leah were so understanding and kind with my late replies since they knew I was busy planing my wedding. It was lovely.

The mattress could have been a little more comfortable and I wish it had a vacuum cleaner but this really isn’t a big deal.

What’s there not to like! The house itself is perfect, location and views idyllic, and we loved the surprise of a carrot cake and other treats on arrival. Communication with the host was quick, easy and very responsive. The house and hosts are environmentally friendly too which we were grateful for. The chickens are friendly and inquisitive if you invite it, but aren’t a nuisance in any way! We’re looking forward to returning some time.

We went at the beginning of February and the underfloor heating made the house super warm; however appreciate this is because the house is energy efficient. Opening a window or door occasionally soon made it cooler, so not a great issue.
