Broadgate House & Steading

Beautiful house in a fantastic location. Lovely to have all en-suite rooms. Perfect for our family get together. Rooms we could all be in together and a couple of smaller rooms for people to chill in smaller groups.

Could do with additional cooking facilities. Aga is great but hard to plan a meal for such a large group as the individual ovens are too small for a large one pot dish and different temperatures so still difficult if split in two. There was a microwave which broke during our stay. It was very quickly replaced which we appreciated very much as we were relying on it for sterilisation of bottles etc for twins. Unfortunately the replacement microwave was much smaller. Worked for us for the babies things but less useful than the original as an additional cooking facility.

Beautifully furnished, cosy and homely. It has a very well equipped kitchen which is perfect for the location. The views are incredible with great walks right on the doorstep.
