Perfect location, the views were amazing, the garden was sheltered and looked over the river. Easily walkable into the town, nice shops, plenty of places to eat/drink.
The host was friendly and welcoming.
The apartment (The West Wing) was spotlessy clean, tastefully decorated and provided everything you would need. We stayed for a wedding but would love to return to just relax and enjoy.

Size of apartment.
Both bedrooms are next to a main road with a set of traffic lights that goes through the village. We could hear a steady flow of vehicles from about 7am and often feel the vibrations from lorries in bed. When the set of traffic lights was on red outside the apartment, you could also hear the noisy engine of a waiting bus. Although the heating was on, the apartment (except the gallery kitchen) didn't feel particularly warm due to the age of the property. I messaged the owner to ask if there were additional blankets for the beds and was told no but winter duvets were on the beds. Fortunately, my husband found extra duvets in the divan bed drawers in the main bedroom. We placed these on top of the beds. Thank goodness he found them - we would definitely not have been warm enough without them. On the first day, the shower repeatedly went from hot to freezing. Not ideal when 4 people are trying to get ready for a wedding, The boiler was also making a banging noise! Hadn't time to message the owner re this matter as we had to rush off to the wedding, The following day, water seemed to be ok. Boiler clearly needs checking though.
