Had a wonderful stay in a castle view room. It was large with every comfort. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and the evening meal was excellent. The steak was so tender and the soufflé with ginger ice cream

Stayed the one night whilst visiting friend in Wall (Hexham) The accommodation was great with views of the castle. Very atmospheric. Breakfast was fantastic and then we took the castle tour. Lovely staff that made you feel very welcome ( in some places like this with "history" staff can appear very overbearing but definitely not the case here) Will definitely return

Booked an overnight stay with my wife at very short notice. The location and setting are beautiful. Food very good and a great breakfast in particular. It was a clear February night, and did a bit of dark sky star gazing in the castle grounds.Stunning. Location is private and no surrounding bustle. Look forward to returning.
