All staff with special shout out to Nick and Charlotte were exceptional. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bed comfortable and great to be able to open windows. The breakfast and dinner we had at the restaurant was really good pub food with reasonable pricing for drinks also. Would recommend this hotel for a stopover on the Hadrian's Wall walk.

Last minute booking for a couples night away.Weather was lovely so sitting in the beer garden overlooking the River was really nice.Restaurant food was just ok and had to ask for cutlery and condiments ( felt the staff were in training),however breakfast was very good and plentiful.Room was also nice although sockets were situated in odd places and we only had x1 set of towels ( we didnt request more).Have to drive if you want to go to a pub or shop nothing in walking distance.Stopped off in Corbridge on the way home which was lovely.
