About this cottage rental
Vesta View, named after the Roman goddess of the hearth, home and family is a modern and luxurious spacious property offering spectacular panoramic views of open countryside.
Set in the heart of Hadrian's Wall Country and Northumberland National Park; home to England's cleanest rivers, clearest air and darkest skies, the property has everything you need for a perfect break.
There are five well sized bedrooms, which are light, bright and offering unspoilt views of open countryside. The three upstairs bedrooms have king sized beds. The two downstairs rooms have a choice of super king double or two single beds. Each bedroom has ensuite shower facilities with a fixed rain head and height adjustable shower head and some with a bath. One of the downstairs bedrooms is fully accessible with a large and spacious wet room. The other downstairs bedroom has a walk in shower.
The lounge and dining area is open plan, with a wood burner in the lounge. The kitchen is spacious and light with an upright fridge, five ring induction hob, two fan assisted ovens, dishwasher and a microwave.
There is a small utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and upright freezer.

Bunch of old friends from university days had a great long weekend at Vesta View. The accomodation is ideal for our group of eight adults. Great location for walking on Hadrian’s Wall and exploring the area. Recommended.

Vesta view was an amazing place for our recent birthday celebrations. Luxury accommodation with stunning views from nearby every window. The property offers everything you could possibly want and more. Suited our multi-generational group but equally would have been prefect for a group of friends.

We were celebrating our friend’s 50th Birthday and had a wonderful stay at Carraw Farm.
This was our second visit and looking forward to the next.
Amazing views, loved the herd of cows quietly meandering the fields and the chickens were cute too!
The house was very well equipped and met all of our needs.
The hosts were excellent, answered all of our enquiries and very welcoming.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Carraw Farm.

This was our fourth stay at Vesta View, and this time we stayed for a week instead of the four nights we’d done previously. After a 300 mile drive from Suffolk, this made a big difference to us, as we could relax even more during our stay.
Another difference this time was that we made use of the car charger. Starting the next day with full range without having to go to a filling station is good, with the charger being the usual 7kW CCS, tethered.
You can probably guess by our number of visits that we love Vesta View! Spotlessly clean, very well thought out, very spacious, well equipped, and definitely somewhere to completely relax if that’s what you want.
When venturing out, many of the touristy spots on Hadrian’s Wall are within fifteen minutes drive of Vesta View, and the beautiful Northumberland coast is less than an hour away.
A apecial mention for accessibility at Vesta View. Downstairs is all easy going for a wheelchair, doorways are all wide, and the two accessible en-suite bedrooms are well designed.
I’ve no hesitation in recommending Vesta View at Carraw Farm.
