The staff (with the exception of one manager) were lovely and very helpful. The food was also good.
The “sea view” we paid extra for was not provided; instead, the room had a view of a building, as shown in the photos. When we raised this with reception, we were offered a room change for only one of the two nights, which we declined, as our intention was to relax rather than move rooms mid-stay.
Housekeeping was also below standard. The floors were not properly mopped with dirt on the floor, which is evident in the photos provided.
However, the most unusual and uncomfortable experience occurred on our last night, when one of the managers unexpectedly called our room to ask how we would rate the hotel and whether we would give it a score above 9. We politely declined to answer. But the same question was repeated during checkout pressuring us to say what the rating would be. This felt unprofessional and is not what one would expect from a hotel claiming to be 5-star.
Overall, while the facilities are in place, but the hotel requires improvements in service consistency and professionalism to truly meet 5-star standards.

Great location, nice shared pool attached to the room
The room seems to be well designed, but fails with some "practicals":
1. The separate shower room makes all the room wet when going out from the shower. A towel on the floor is not a solution since the shower door opens to the outside bumping into the towel.
2. The sink and mirror in the middle of the room instead of in the bathroom is NOT practical.

Great hotel with friendly staff, multiple pools, private beach and overall a very relaxing experience. We had a lovely time and a fantastic room with sea view. We will definitely visit again in the future and exceeded our expectations.

- Good breakfast and dinner with many options ( breakfast could have a few more options )
- Beach is close, very clean and free beds
- Very polite and professional hotel Staff
- I would prefer a shade / shelter or umbrella above the room balcony since there is no shade to rest on your balcony during the day until the afternoon. This would also protect the room balcony from the several bird nests above
- no issue with bird nests but the little fellows are constantly leaving their mark on the balcony and you need to clean up all day ( which you dont want to do in your vacation specially for this price )
- a Shade/ shelter would help in this direction and would improve your product and service
rooms 511 until 515 should definetely have a shelter / tent or umbrella , no need to remove the nests :)
- Another suggestion would be regrding the shared pools, and to clarify better who has access to them. The shared pools should have access for specific rooms only but unfortuantely many people dont know that and just use the shared pools which is not correct . This is an extra many people pay for and you should protect your product better.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous!!! Everything during our stay was amazing, the pools are stunning, everyone from the hotel staff is really nice and friendly!!! Our room was amazing with a pool right in front of the door. It is very close to Afitos so u can go for a nice walk. Even though the hotel was fool it was calm atmosphere. We will definitely visit again!!!

Pool area is very nice, we went to Cora hotel for our 10 year anniversary and we got upgraded to beautiful room. Stuff was really nice and helpful. The pool area is beautiful, overlooking the sea. We are very happy with out stay and would try to come back

We came for a vacation to celebrate our anniversary. We weren’t familiar with the hotel or the area at all. Before our arrival, I wrote to the hotel and mentioned the reason for our visit. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Alexandra, the guest relations manager – a woman with one of the highest levels of service we’ve ever encountered.
The service was impeccable, the cleanliness was perfect, and the breakfast was of a very high standard – as were the hotel’s restaurants.
We stayed in a room with a private pool, and it exceeded all expectations.
Truly a dream vacation in a dream location.
There’s no doubt we will come back again.
Everything was perfect – I honestly have nothing bad to say.

We had a wonderful stay at this modern and beautifully designed hotel. The interior is stylish and thoughtfully decorated, and the panoramic views are absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in one of the private pool rooms, which was a real highlight—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A special thanks to Antonis Paspalis for going above and beyond—your kindness and attention truly made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Very nice property with an aesthetically pleasing layout. Great sea views. Staff were friendly. Convenient parking.
Operations seem rough and unpolished. Upon check in we were seated in the lobby and given no information about how long it would take. We arrived around 90 minutes before check in time and waited over an hour before I asked the staff how long it would take. As if by magic, a room was available. The hotel was not at all busy. I found this strange and have never had a problem checking into hotels 90 minutes early. At the very least, the staff could have offered us to relax with a drink next to the pool.
Staff are friendly enough but lack awareness of 5-star service standards and some had difficulty communicating in English. We could not find a bar open after 18:30, and room service seemed to shut down at that time as well.
There were features at the hotel that seemed gimmicky and sloppily implemented. For example the ipad-type tablets in the room seemed neat at first but did not offer any useful features or information. We were encouraged at check-in to download a Cora hotel app. This is 2025 and nobody wants an app these days - just free internet.
The breakfast has a lot of room for improvement. The the coffee from the machine was very poor quality. Other tables were getting espresso from the beach bar delivered but nobody came to offer it to our table. All of the food was pre-cooked and nothing was available to order. Every nice hotel has an omelet/egg station these days.
The pillows were very thick, and there was only type in the room, which could cause problems for some. The double beds have two narrow blankets instead of one large one. I have seen this at other hotels but have never understood this concept.
While the facility has great potential, ultimately the resort falls short of a "5 STAR" experience.

It was our second time at the hotel, and as expected, we enjoyed it to the maximum and even prolonged our stay just because we did not want to leave the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were all extremely friendly, especially Aleksandra, who made sure we had everything we need and made our check-in smooth.

The hotel is superb, with fabulous architecture and landscaping. The outdoor pool areas are arranged down to the smallest detail, and the cleanliness is exemplary. The rooms are charming, very well-equipped, organized and maintained, offering a stunning view of the sea and the beach. Here I enjoyed some of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen.
The beds are very comfortable.
Breakfast is varied and delicious, featuring high-quality, authentic local products.
The live music evenings, organized in the bar area, further enliven and relax the atmosphere.

Very strange hotel. On one hand - 5 star luxury regarding pools, buildings, room comfort, view. Very nice pools, lots of space.
Very bad service. No housekeeping, we had to wait for two days for someone to clean our room. There was a dead bird on our terrace, nobody came to take it away for few days. Got toilet paper only after calling front desk, it was missing. Food is average, waiters not trained properly for a 5 star hotel. Very agressive marketing - hotel is sending offers every day.

Definitely for 5 stars, the hotel should improve the food in the main restaurant. The breakfast is poor in terms of assortment. Lunch in the main restaurant has a lot of semi-finished products, which I did not like and we refused to eat there. We had to visit 3 different places in the complex to find towels for the pool. The reception of the Spa center did not give us any assistance and the guy at the spa reception was very unkind. It did not give me a good impression that the dogs walking around the complex slept on the mattresses of the sunbeds and then guests had to lie on them. In front of our room #816 throughout the stay, the maid's cart stood outside and often the maids left the trash there all day.
On our very first day, there was a huge "Drama" in the evening to order a Greek salad for dinner and we had to go around the two restaurants and reception asking to get a salad.
Thanks to the waiter in one of the restaurants, after much trouble, they brought us a salad to our room.
The hotel's private beach was not cleaned and it was very unpleasant to see all this rubbish all around you.
There is definitely a lot to be desired in the service and in the management of the hotel. However, 5 * stars implies a much higher level.

Amazing ambient, with fantastic facilities and amenities, and very polite and professional stuff. The room looks beautiful, and the bed is very comfortable. It had a huge TV with some nice options, like Bluetooth connection. It is very clean with daily housekeeping, a bathrobe and enogh towels for the summer months. The pool area is beautiful, with super comfy sunbeds, curtesy beach towels and a fantastic view. Very decent breakfast as well.
A bit more variety of drinks and coffees would be nice for breakfast. There are no elevators, but the stuff helps with the luggage.

Cleaning need improvement. Hotel is full of swallows and their nests, which is very serious problem for hygiene in public areas. Housekeeping also need some lessons , bit it is finally very nice place and we are happy with our stay..

Our stay at Cora Hotel & Spa Resort was excellent! Would highly recommend staying here - the resort was absolutely stunning and great value for money. You have a variety of bars, two restaurants and loads of pools to relax by. The quality of furniture used throughout the hotel (including inside the hotel and by the pool) were really excellent - they absolutely deserve being a 5* hotel. The rooms were really great - we had a deluxe double room with sea view and had everything you could want. Staff were very accommodating and friendly - couldn’t ask for more. I would recommend getting a car so you can explore the town of Afytos - lots of restaurants and bars to explore!
The negatives I could say were the food was average and could be improved - breakfast buffet did offer a variety of options, but I do think the quality of food could be better.
Secondly, the pools were freezing - which obviously when you’re in 30 degree heat can be nice, but you can’t stay in there for long!
Lastly, the beach you can go to by the hotel wasn’t that nice - we were expecting it to be better. I would say if you can hire a car, definitely do it so you can explore other beaches etc.

Well the resort looked lovely, the Guy who helps carry the bags was the only one that treated us kindly.
From the first second we arived something was of, the man at the Gate of enterance was unpleasant and stared as a hungry dog at my wife…. It took 10 minutes for him to find my name on his list, so we could enter the parking space…. When we came to the reception, I belivie 4-5 people were screaming and arguing with the staff, also the staff screamed back and were really unfriendly. We checked in but when arriving to our ”suite with seaview” There were no seview instead we watched people eating at the pool 3 meters from us. When I complained that they gave us the wrong room, they replied that they had given our room away to somebody who I believe either knows somebody who works in the reception and they belivied because we are young we would not complain. Or that they compensated somebody who complained and then received our appartment. They (reception) started to say that we are lying so I had to “prove” by calling booking and confirming my reservation. We decided to leave, we contacted booking and spoke to the head manager who after 6 long hours of arguing finally gave us our money back since we just wanted to leave. Ps, we talked with other tourist who complained and they said that there rooms wasn’t cleaned all week and that the beach was horrible.

The Room was new and clean and very comfortable, all the arias well decorated. The service from the waiters and cleaning ladies were nice.
The A la carte Restaurant closed at 21:00.We paid for Deluxe Double with private Room and we got Deluxe double Room with shared pool. They told us they will change the room next day and the next day they said we don't have that room available. We spoke with the Reservation Department and they said we will change the price of the Room. In the end no change was made. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. The LADY OF THE RESERVATION DEPARTMENT was so ironic and not polite and even called "lairs" because she said we had the Room but you didn't wanted to move. "Funny joke of her ". Very disappointing attitude for a 5 Star Hotel. After arguing for minutes we just got 56 Eur discount from Extras which was not the Rate difference of the Room type. They don't even reply to Booking.com Costumer Service Agents.

Beautiful ambience, hotel, architecture, view! Really unreal. The rooms with pools are wonderful and very nicely decorated.
All the staff except the waiter are very unpleasent. You don’t feeel welcome. Hardly anyone speaks English, so it's hard to communicate. Rooms are not cleaned every day, bins are not emptied, towels are not changed. And it's a 5 star hotel? If you pay for half board, you should know that you won't get a drop of water for dinner. You have to buy everything extra. If you complain about something, the manager and staff really don't care, you are literally just a guest who needs to leave a money and that is unfortunately their only goal. The hotel has so much potential and really so bad management, it's a shame. The entrance to the water on the beach is scandalous, full of stones, and they don't even have a bar on the beach. Cakes for dinner are not even for a two-star hotel. Mostly, you will get 3 creams full of sugar and some jelly. In contact with hotel guests, I realized that they have all the same critic. Here on comments, they probably will answer "we're sorry, we'll try to fix it…" like to everyone else, but believe me - they won't. They don't care for guests. This hotel, excluding the ambiance and beautiful pools, really does not deserve 5 stars. It's not value for the money.
