Perfect vacation in Afitos

Absolutely lovely place. Nature around is just fantastic. The rooms have everything that is needed. Cleaning everyday. Breakfast is good. Stuff is very helpful. We’re thankful for having the wonderful time there!

Nature, freedom, and relaxation

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, beautifully kept, and surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere of nature and freedom. The pool area was a real highlight, perfect for enjoying the sun and unwinding. Everything was well cared for with great attention to detail, making the experience truly enjoyable. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

The place would have been acceptable if it weren’t for the smell! They tried to cover it with some chemical perfume which was bad anyway, but after one night of staying, all our clothes smelled smth terrible!

The smell and the noise mostly! Trucks were passing like driving though our room.

Perfect place to stay.

There is plenty of space to relax around the hotel. Around the swimming pool and on the private beach. Was always clean. The breakfast was good. Easy to arrive.

One day we ran out of hot water. The breakfast could have some extra fruits and the coffee was not so hot and with the cold milk you end up drinking cold coffee. The ceiling fan was making a lot of noise.

Beautiful place with an amazing beach, breakfast could be better

The beach and the water was incredible, the staff was very nice, the place very beautiful and the rooms were good.

The beach wasn't as close as it seems, it's very steep to get there, the breakfast wasn't always fresh, and some of the rooms were very close to the road so it was quite loud when the cars went by

My recent stay at this hotel was a delightful experience, with several standout features that I'd like to share. First and foremost, the location of the hotel is simply fantastic and incredibly easy to find. Secondly, one of the most impressive aspects of this hotel was the cleanliness of the rooms. They were impeccably maintained and cleaned daily and the attention to detail in this regard did not go unnoticed and was much appreciated. The hotel staff were a highlight of our stay. They were not just courteous but genuinely friendly and open to addressing all of our requests. In fact, we formed a special connection with one of the staff members - Polly. Polly, if you happen to read this review, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your exceptional hospitality. You truly made our stay memorable! Another asset of this hotel is the nearby beach, just a short 10-minute walk away. While it may be small, it exudes charm and is perfectly suited for the hotel's guests. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. Its prime location, impeccable cleanliness, friendly staff, and breathtaking sunsets make it a memorable choice. While the humidity issue in our specific room was a minor inconvenience, it did not diminish the overall positive experience we had. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay enjoyable, and a special thank you to Polly for going above and beyond. We look forward to returning in the future.

Now, onto the only drawback of our stay: the humidity in the underground-level room. Despite the room being equipped with both air conditioning and a fan, the humidity levels were still noticeable and occasionally affected our sleep quality. However, I must emphasize that the numerous positive aspects of this hotel far outweigh this single issue.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing, the property is spacious and so well taken care of and our room was just as comfortable as we had hoped for. The beach is close, private and quiet, with incredible views. Breakfast was very good and the hosts so warm and welcoming. Definitely would recommend and consider coming back again!

Poor

The villa was in a great location 5 minutes from the center of Afitos. A steep path leads down to a private beach with turquoise water that you can enjoy on your own.

Our room was located in a cellar, more precisely on the ground floor. The rooms had poor insulation and the worst was in the evening and in the morning.Sleeping in the room was a nightmare. For two nights in a row we heard the neighbor's snoring.You could hear almost everything from the other rooms: coughing, showers, running water.. The worst of all was the smell coming from the toilet. The smell spread all over the room... And the most tragic thing it was that the toilet door was right next to the bed and it was great to breathe "clean air". The room smelled damp and the sheets were damp. Of course we complained to the boss, and he gave us a great answer those are the conditions that is an economy room. Which I don't think is a good answer because if I paid for an economy room it doesn't mean I have to breathe the smell of sewage. And of course I think that we did not pay cheaply,at all 75 euros per night in september for two persons for economy room. And for me this is the definition of an economy room :The comfort of economy room is the same as the standard rooms but the rooms are a bit smaller. In any case, this accommodation left a bad impression on us

Very nice and helpful stuff. Breakfast was really nice. Quite place next to few crowded towns so you can have both - quite stay or dynamic and fun. Also the hotel has a private beach.

The hotel is very nice, right above a small rocky beach - very romantic. Clean and with all the needed facilities. Very nice smell form thetrees every mirnibg during breakfast. The breakfast is very good.

Only the smell in the bathroom, but it was just because of the canal I think. The breakfast is sometimes on the edge, when we were waking up, but it is true that we slept until almost the end if the time. :)

Pefkon retreat and recharge

Wonderful location! Situated high on the rocky hills, above the turquoise Aegean sea. You will find your way downhill to a private beach where you can enjoy it sometimes in total solitude. The staff is always on call, ready to support you whenever in need. Clean rooms on check in, daily cleaning and towels. Easy to check in. Clean pool. A perfect getaway for families with children. Don't forget about Afytos. Pefkon Suites is close to this dreamy Mediterranean small town!

A bit more options for the breakfast, not too much, enough to change the taste from a day to another. The room needs one or two extra small cabinets for personal items. It can get crowded with all the luggage.

Enjoyable and clean hotel with a nice garden, good breakfast, nice pool and very friendly staff.

We have been impressed by the staff of the hotel. We were also very happy with the cleanliness. The staff made every effort possible to ensure that we felt welcome and taken care of. It is a lot thanks to the hotel staff that we ended up having an overall positive experience and we enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was very good. The breakfast area was in the garden next to the pool and the selection of food was satisfactory, especially given the relatively smaller size of the hotel. The overall facilities were certainly sufficient for us to have a great time. We also appreciated the location. While we were a bit concerned when we booked that it would be too far out of the town, it ended up being in a convenient location, as the town was always too congested and difficult to access by car. We always used the car to drive 700m, to the closest (free) parking lot at the town limits and then walked to the town center for another 700m; this was a good balance. It was also relatively easy to access the main road of the peninsula and it was very easy to access the supermarket or the beach we liked to go to.

While the room was overall correct, it did feel small. We have booked the 'seaview suite'. The bed was of the right size and there was a couch that could be transformed to a third bed. But the overall space was rather limited. What was particularly small and borderline inconvenient was the bathroom. The decoration of the room was OK, although rather basic. Overall this was not a too much of an issue for us, as we did not stay much in the room. We understand that prices have been overall high in the area for the time of season we visited there; and this hotel was priced above average. We though that the price was a bit higher than what would make sense compared to other vacation we have had in similar places in other parts of Greece or even in places nearby. The positive points described above did bring a balance overall, even if we still felt the value for money equation could have been better.

Beautiful, calm, and a truly happy place

Can not say enough positive things about this place. Staff was unbelievable. Breakfast was delicious. Pool was perfect and the beach felt private. We ended up changing our plans to stay in Greece longer because we enjoyed it so much.

Nice and private place

Lovely location if you look for some privacy, next to a pretty town Afitos. Beautiful and secluded beach nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfasts in the garden. Clean and modern place.

Our room and bathroom were too small. Steep access to the beach. Walking distance to Afitos, but along the main road not lit at night. We couldn't find any grocery shops nearby.

Overall we had a wonderful stay and we would like to come again!

Rooms are very nice, clean, you get everything you need. The garden is wonderful. Laying on the sunbeds during sunset was something really to enjoy. The beach below the hotel is amazing, not a lot of people, very private and the hotel has a few beach umbrellas that you can borrow so that can be very useful. The staff is really pleasant. We had a problem with the bed the first night and they solved it instantly! Breakfast is appropriate, not a lot of options but I would say enough. Don’t expect too much.

The WIFi should be better. It’s painfully slow in the evening when everybody is in their rooms. You need a car if you stay at Pefkon, and hopefully, we had one. Even though it’s only a 15-20 min walk to Afytos you need to walk on the road, there is no pavement and no lights so it’s a bit unsafe.

Nothing but praises for Pefkon suites. Great value for the money, nice location in beautiful nature with pool. Beautiful private beach with crystal clear water, 5 minutes down, 10 minutes up. Staff was very responsive and did everything we asked for. Nice breakfast. Rooms were clean and very comfortable.

Just a few suggestions: there should be more cupboards in the bathroom for accessories and one chair in the room would be useful.

La struttura è bellissima, ma le stanze economy posso smantellarle pure.

La struttura è vicina al centro e ha una bellissima discesa al mare, ma la risalita non è per tutti. Piscina e zona relax in mezzo al verde, molto bella. Colazione buona servita a bordo piscina.

Sconsiglio vivamente di non prenotare le stanze, se si possono chiamare così Economy. Sono attaccate alla strada e rumorosissime. Non ben isolate, per fortuna siamo stati solo 3 notti, poveri gli italiani che hanno prenotato per 15gg.

Mooi privé strand 🏝️

Mooie plek met goede kamer iets buiten het centrum. Je kunt via een trap naar een heel leuk privé strand en het ontbijt was prima!

De deur van onze kamer kon niet meer dicht. Dit hebben wij een aantal keren duidelijk aangegeven. Na 3 dagen nog steeds niet gerepareerd. Jammer!

În mare parte a fost ok pentru ca doar am dormit acolo în rest am fost plecati

Priveliștea, camerele destul de ok

Baia foarte mică, “ barul” lor se închide la 18:00 și nu îți mai poți lua nimic de băut, la Md nu prea ai variante diversificate, plaja nu este atât de aproape cum spun ei… 150 de m poate în cădere deoarece ai mult de coborât până la plajă iar să urci e foarte greu, lipsa sejlong la plajă, este o plajă mai mult sălbatică, fără bar, terasă
