Modern Peaceful Flat in Town

The flat was in a nice block of about 15 apartments about a 15-20 minute walk to Bournemouth pier. There were plenty of shops about a 5 minute walk away. The host was very helpful and the flat was nice and clean.

I wasn’t prepared for the fact that we needed ID before the host would release the key code but all was fine. The main road was quite close but not that noticeable with the windows closed.

Location for shops was about 5/10 min walk parking available and clean property would recommend property owner was good communication

But far from beach if ur walking but otherwise nothing to complain about

The flat was clean and well-maintained. However, there was a strong smell of cigarettes throughout, which affected our stay

There were several issues that affected our stay. The most noticeable was the strong cigarette smell throughout the flat. The curtains were also of poor quality and difficult to open and close. We found the location felt unsafe, particularly at night. On one evening, there was a police incident right outside the window which was very disruptive, and we were unable to sleep due to the noise. The flat is on the ground floor directly above a garage gate, which is located beneath the main bedroom. The gate was used frequently and created loud noise each time it opened and closed, further disturbing our sleep. Additionally, the building’s rubbish bins are positioned directly outside the window, and we saw a rat passing by, which was very unpleasant. The pillows were also extremely uncomfortable, appearing very worn out, with two flattened pillows placed into each pillowcase
