Very enjoyable stay.

Staff were helpful and spoke good English. I liked the room I stayed in which was comfortable. Breakfast was very good and started conveniently early. Great that there was a restaurant nextdoor that gave 10% discount for hotel guests and did very good Italian and some more English meals and had menu in English also. Was very busy with lot of guests and in restaurant, but a good atmosphere. Air con in room saved me having to have the window open all the time and enduring the noise of traffic. Very good value for money.

Again, as with just about everywhere else I stayed on this trip, there was no bath despite the words ''bath or shower'' in the description. Naively, and because I like a bath, I chose the ones that said ''bath or shower''. However, now I know that the words ''bath or shower'' mean there is no bath, I will in future ignore this bit of the description. If no bath, then kindly remove the word ''bath''!!!! Traffic was very busy on that road and I had a front facing room, but it didn't bother me too much, and as said, the air con in the room helped and worked well. No food/convenience shops nearby from what I could see, but as said, very handy having the restaurant there whose staff I thought were excellent.

Great stay at La Pioppa

The excellent reception staff Marco was exceptionally helpful and provided us with all the necessary information to help us in our 2 days stay. The rooms were clean bed comfortable with the type of mattress I would love in my house. All the necessary amenities were there. The shower was powerful just what I needed after 6 hours travel by train. Hypercoop a large shopping mall it's not far and I recommend the gastronomy section. The airport is close by 5 minutes drive. Great stay I will be back.

It could be helpful to have a little sheet of paper next to the phone with the numbers to call for the different services

it was an emergency one night stay as our flight got diverted. it is nearby the airport. i was only able to choose triple beds during reservation and upon checkin, they upgraded us to 4 single bed. breakfast was superb!

Breakfast was very good.

The hotel is on a motorway, and they don't enable the aircon until June. The only option to get air in is to open the window - on to the motorway. That made it hard to sleep.

The price was cheap, but still not worth the many issues

Check-in/check-out were slow, the lights were out and not working in most of the hotel including our room, and several stink bugs flying around the room.

Very good breakfast, enought clean towels, clean bathroom, hot water, bequemte beds. Room was warm, wi-fi was great.

Unfortunately the shower was just attached to the ceiling. It was very easy to get your hair wet in the shower. A shower with a flexible hose would be much better.

Nice stay close to Bologna

The hotel meets the description shared in Booking. The room and toilet are great and clean. If you are planning to book a room in the hotel just take under consideration that buses pass by once every hour, thus it is better to plan the departure a bit in advance to reduce the waiting time.

Good location for tranzit and not far away from center. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful

The AC was a little bit noisy but it wasn’t a big issue anyway. The pillows were to tough and I couldn’t use them.

Good value accommodation and no hidden issues or costs with car parking

I booked this hotel because of its competitive rate and access to parking. Although it is 6-7 Km from central Bologna it was only 10 mins to Piazza Maggiore in central Bologna. It is also only 25 minutes to Moderna and the Ferrari Museum. For car drivers I think this is and excellent choice as no complications with 24 hour car parking. The room was very good with all the facilities and included a great breakfast with many options. The staff were very good and given I had stuffed up my booking dates adjusted them without issue.

Access to an English language news channel would have been icing on the cake!

the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is excellent. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and large. The bus stop is a two-minute walk away

It is very far from the city center and in the room you can hear the noise from the hallway and the rooms on the sides.
