Calm Cosy House with Beautiful Riverside Walk to Centre

Location, near river. Private parking. Facilities good for short stay. Quick response online.

Smaller than expected, especially 2nd bedroom. Issue with uncollected rubbish in yard unresolved for entire stay, despite contacting owner.

A perfect location for our perfect 4 day stay and only a 20 minute beautiful walk alongside the river in to the heart of York. The house itself is on a very quiet street and has everything you could think of to cook etc, a home from home 😁 Amy was very prompt at responding to us and even gave us tips for our onward journey! Nothing to fault. It was perfect

Comfortable clean house in a quiet street. The kitchen was well equipped and modern. A minute’s walk to the footpath that runs alongside the river leading to York centre. Supermarket and Pharmacy around the corner.

Great parking space behind property but access is a bit tight.

American/English family of 4 staying for 2 nights at end March. Easy access 24/7. Free parking spot behind the home. We were concerned getting into the street, based on reviews but it was easy enough in our estate car, just be ready to reverse slightly once or twice to make the corner comfortably but NOT stressful for a decent driver. Superb stay in this cosy, comfortable and clean 2 bedroomed terraced house on the outskirts of York. A beautiful 15-20 minute walk beside the river into town. Purpose of our visit was to see the university campus, an easy 20 min walk to get there. LOVED the chocolate bar treat and the tea/coffee etc. Well stocked kitchen. Hot shower. Comfy enough bed. Nice little back patio area, you can take the kitchen chairs out temporarily if you catch a little sunshine. York is worth a visit. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you.

Not much not to like. Shower was a little confusing snd not great at containing the water, there was no fan in the bathroom that we could find so likely to require extra maintenance to keep moisture out as time goes by.
