This stylish two-bedroom home provides a relaxing retreat with a sleek, modern finish throughout, plenty of natural light and thoughtful touches to make your stay comfortable.
The spacious master bedroom features a super king bed, which can be separated into twin beds upon request, making it a flexible option for different guest requirements. The room also benefits from an ensuite shower room, large wardrobes providing ample storage and access to a private balcony - the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet moment.
The second bedroom offers a comfortable double bed, wardrobe space and a dressing table, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay.
On the ground floor, the bright and welcoming open- plan kitchen and living area creates a sociable space to relax and enjoy time together. French doors flood the room with natural light and open out onto the private patio area, where you’ll find outdoor seating with a table and chairs - ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or evening drinks.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for your stay, including double ovens and modern appliances, allowing you to prepare meals with ease. Also located on the ground floor is a convenient WC and a utility cupboard with a washing machine.
For added convenience, Groom’s Cottage benefits from on-site parking for one car, located directly next to the property. Please note that accessing and leaving the parking space can be a little tight; however, both cars and vans have successfully parked there. Grooms cottage was easy to find, in a quiet location just behind a small park but with easy access into the City.
It was very modern with all appliances you need and clean and tidy. Comfy beds, nice en-suite to a very large master bedroom.
Great bonus is the allocated parking space for one car as the street has no parking.
One small negative comment for us was
the outside area with table and chairs had not been prepared at all which was disappointing as the sun was out on arrival but we soon sorted this with a brush and cleaned the table and chairs down with soap and water.
Overall a lovely place to stay when visiting friends and family in the beautiful city of York.
