Great location, price and staff

Over the top guest services! My family went out to the pool and it started raining and staff came to bring us an umbrella. Location was perfect! We loved the Hot-tub and Sauna! Pool was chilly but it was a rainy, winter day-so expected!

Wonderful stay

I had a wonderful stay here. Despite some hesitation due to other reviews, my experience was positive. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and it is just a 10-minute walk to the central station.

Just be aware that the stairs are narrow and steep which makes carrying heavy luggage a bit difficult.

Basic comforts

Staff were very nice and cheerful, the free coffee at check in counter and the microwave also at the counter is a nice add on since our tooms dont have that.

Room was very basic and the walks and flooring was do thin. We could hear every footfall of the occupants on the room above us and they were walking and talking up to 12 midnight

The gentleman that checked us in. Very kind

The young lady was rude. No power no hot water. The young lady was short with us when we asked questions. Because we knew there was a power outage the day before but we and another person beside us was out as well and we also did not have hot water. Just terrible

Excellent location and friendly staff.

The hotel had experienced an electrical issue. Our room did not have hot water. We were disappointed that it wasn’t fixed when we first reported it, the person just reset a breaker and left for the night. So we woke up to cold water for morning showers. They apologized and provided snacks but I still feel the issue could have been resolved when first reported.

Modest accommodation in fantastic location.

Great location accessible to train station and all the old town has to offer. Staff were lovely: very helpful. Room was clean with a kettle and teabags. .

Great location for a short stay in Lucerne

The location is great for families. Walking distance to Chapel Bridge, restaurants, the ferry, and train station.

We knew there wasn’t an elevator/lift. But after a full day of walking, it was tiring walking up 3 flights. It worked fine for our kids but if you have littles who don’t do stairs well, it’s not ideal.

We really appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They held luggage for us, gave us lots of good advice on locations to visit and how to do it, and provided access to great facilities.

The location of the room was great, walking distance to everything. Having a fridge was great for the cold drinks and the window seat was a nice way to watch people in the street. Having access to the pool at the neighboring hotel was also a nice surprise
