Under 2min walking distance to Galluswarte train station. Easy check in, super affordable price, spacious room, nice noise isolation from the surrounding area. Everything was clean, and it was the exact room that was depicted on the picture.

Little loud when someone was moving within the building, some parts of the room looked kind of grungy and should be fixed, would elevate the overall feeling, bathroom was rather small. The fan was missing, someone was smoking in the building, you could smell it through the vent system in the bathroom.

Door was defected … so I face too much problems.

Floor was totally dirty

It was perfect for just spending the night. The staff were friendly, though not in the usual professional overt manner. The proximity to the train station "Galluswarte" is also very convenient. Recommend for short stays on a budget.

The toilet seat was broken, the mattress was old and had holes, the bed was also just generally small, and (for my room) the bathroom was also the entrance area. there was no bedside table either. Do not recommend if any form of luxury is expected.

Not clean ( Found bedbugs and the smell of the room was terrible ) Furniture was broken, no air con, front door is open all the time, thus anyone can enter the building

The reception was not there when I arrived and I waited for them for about 30min, even though they had accepted and confirmed my check-in at 23-00. I even called them, as they said on a label on the desk, but the receptionist hung up on me. The shower door didn’t close and the room was extremely small. Also, the worker was quite rude, he couldn’t find me in the system and refused to look at my confirmation mail with all the information, which of course made everything take longer. May I add, I’m 8 months pregnant. Also he made me pay him 2€ for a “tourist charge”, which is very absurd, considering that I already had paid the room in advance.

It's very close to train tracks where both passenger and cargo trains often go and the noise from the main street can also be heard easily.

Very central and accessible location to banhof and messe, i stop away 10 mins on foot. Spacious room, comfortable bed, well lit space

Nothing, absolutely nothing good I can say about this place. Not even worth calling a hotel.

My overall experience was disappointing from the start. While the neighborhood was manageable, the absence of a secure parking facility added an unnecessary hassle. Walking through a somewhat dubious area with our belongings wasn't the most pleasant introduction. The establishment lacked a traditional reception; instead, it felt more like a human locker room. To retrieve our room keys, we had to call a number, receive a code for a locker box, and then navigate through multiple keys, risking potential mix-ups. Upon entering the "hotel," it was evident that it was sparsely furnished, devoid of any decor, and lacked basic amenities like an elevator. Our assigned rooms were on the fourth floor, and the journey involved hauling our luggage up narrow staircases. The transition from the third to the fourth floor was confusing, hidden behind what seemed like a garage door. This led us to a cramped staircase, revealing four more rooms, including 401 and 402 – single-bed accommodations suitable for colleagues attending a fair for a quick stay. Room 401 greeted us with excessive heat and a musty odor resembling that of an old attic due to a full-power heater. Room 402, my assigned space, presented an overpowering mixture of smoke, mold, and dust upon entry. The room's cleanliness was questionable, with unidentified substances on the walls, potential electrical hazards, and a concerning lack of a proper fire escape. The only guidance provided was a sign instructing occupants to head to the roof and await a fire ladder in case of emergency. The bathroom didn't fare any better, featuring a broken shower floor, a hole in the wall with a protruding steel pen, and inadequate water pressure and hot water availability. The night was far from restful, and Considering the exorbitant payment of over 200 euros for such substandard accommodations, it felt like a blatant rip-off.

It was good for the price paid. The staff responded promptly. Good location.

I didn't like that the room smelled too much of tobacco. The pillow was uncomfortable (hard)

Very accessible, since it’s near a tram and train station. Room is large enough for 2 people and is clean.

The room was clean and the hotel is well reachable by public transport! Has loads of restaurants and parks nearby. Good value for money!

Lack of personnel was a bit of an issue. They were, however, always available by call. It would have been nice to send all check-in/out process and wifi credentials per the booking app as the reception desk is not always available.

Having booked in the morning, I arrived at the accommodation to find that you had to call a number to check in. Being an international guest I didn’t have a phone number that was able to call, I had to go to the pizza shop to borrow their phone. After calling multiple times with no answer, I gave up. Was still charged for the night regardless

The location is okay, not far from the center. However, the building is close to a major road with so much vehicle noise.

There is so much heat with no air conditioning or a ventilator to reduce the room temperature, and the option to open the windows comes with a lot of vehicle noise from the nearby main road, making sleeping very difficult. Additionally, the drainage in the bathroom seems not to be working properly and was causing water log

I like the price. It was fair.

I didn’t like the fact that the bathroom was shared. It’d have been better if every room has its own bath and toilet.
