The property location is excellent and very convenient. Two university friends meeting up and coming by train found it to be a great location right on the edge of the city.
Occasional traffic noise and noise from the street late at night are to be expected and weren’t a problem.
The property would benefit from some parts being refreshed. A lick of paint here and there and maybe updating the bathroom.
The towels smelt musty as if they hadn’t been dried properly which is a personal pet hate.
I understand why other people have mentioned the staircase. It would be very difficult for people with mobility issues.

Fantastic central location (but quiet enough for rest), cute decor, responsive host
Could maybe do with a dehumidifier - third bedroom is a 2nd reception room with sofa bed in the basement, and the bathroom is in the middle of the house so also windowless, and can be hard to keep the damp away.

Quite beautiful. Had everything needed for a fantastic stay in this gorgeous City. A really welcoming, calm, slightly quirky (the spiral staircase!! 🙌) property with a very kind and thoughtful host. I’d stay again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed our stay despite the faults . It’s well located, quirky and generally comfortable . The kids love the basement room away from the rest of us .
It was very dirty . Many places had stains and the floor hadn’t been cleaned . The shower is in an unacceptable condition and the bath very dirty . The bathroom is the worst part. The sofa is also quite bad once you look a bit further than the first impression . There is also some big damp signs near the ceiling lights that need to be addressed quickly .
