Quirky house with all you need for a city break. Well located with a great pub across the road.

Check out at 10. Our host was fine with extending it by half an hour, but when your train is later in the afternoon, it's a pain to deal with your suitcase

Comfort and location

Not the fault of property owner but feel thid should be pointed out :the appalling litter in the street outside caused by number 3 leaving a black plastic bag which was unprotected from fox or such like which led to unpleasant litter being strewn over street all week with no one taking responsibility. Still there on Friday after bin men had been round. Made entrance and exit very unpleasant.

The location is great, cute area and close to the theatre where we were working. Comfy beds.

We didn’t use the basement tv room, it was too damp.

Quirky, well located , comfortable but quite dirty and awful bath

We enjoyed our stay despite the faults . It’s well located, quirky and generally comfortable . The kids love the basement room away from the rest of us .

It was very dirty . Many places had stains and the floor hadn’t been cleaned . The shower is in an unacceptable condition and the bath very dirty . The bathroom is the worst part. The sofa is also quite bad once you look a bit further than the first impression . There is also some big damp signs near the ceiling lights that need to be addressed quickly .

Quirky place ideal for families.

Quirky place with the spiral staircase and a great location for what I was in Norwich for. Very comfortable, clean and generally lovely.

The kitchen has a lot if potential, but the cutting knifes were bad, really need sharpening or replacing. There were no tea towels and could have had some cooking oil available.

Beautiful location, reasonable price, lots of facilities and very homely

The house smelled of smoke and the bathroom was pretty outdated. The bathroom was also quite dirty in spots as the ceiling is very high so hard to dust I imagine

Great for a quick weekend break

Central location, very close to the market. The kitchen was well stocked. Kindly the owners had left the basics so we could clean up and make coffee and tea. Excellent communications with the owners.

Advertised as a three bedroom property but was actually a 2 bedroom with a cellar type snug which was 2 floors below the bedrooms. A room with no windows with a television and a sofa which could be converted to a bed. The front door faces a YMCA back door. Men were congregating outside to smoke cigarettes and cannabis which wafted into the house. They were very loud coming and going which did disturb our sleep. Not a quiet area if you are after relaxed night sleep as the main bedroom windows face the back of a walkway facing the back door of the YMCA. The toilet is upstairs near the bedrooms so you need to constantly climb the narrow steep spiral stairs to spend a penny. The toilet isn’t self is very squashed into a tiny bathroom so is right near the door and others in the bedrooms can hear you whilst you are on the toilet. Not very private.

A great stay in Norwich

The accommodation is very close to the city centre and is lovely decorated. Beds were comfortable and clean. The owner was very friendly and supportive and provided easy communication. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a little dusty on the shelfs and in some corners but the house was overall clean.

Great location, good rooms, kitchen very usable.

Great location very central. Parked in multi-storey car park opposite for weekend. Basement great for our teenage son. Kitchen everything you need. Bedrooms up very spacious.

To reach the bedrooms there is a very tight spiral staircase. Not an issue just be tough with little kids. Ours 10 and 13 not an issue. Younger might be tricky.

Fantastic location in a gorgeous quirky property, very well equiped and lovely, helpful host.

We loved the space, the two tvs (great for teenagers), the location was amazing, the quirkiness of the property.

The children loved the spiral staircase, but the oldies found it a bit challenging!! That said, it is a lovely property and full of character. Due to its central location I would have liked a bolt on the front door (we have experienced our own home being broken into - using a credit card in a yale lock - hence our nervousness). The property was lovely and bright but at 5am it was bright sunshine in the bedrooms (we went to bed late and needed a lie in!!) so a black out blind or lined curtains would be great.

Good location if you are young and fit, great for real ale pubs and churches

Separate bedrooms and TV space. Sofa very comfortable. The spiral staircase is fine, but you have to be strong and agile to get up there. Not suitable for overweight or anyone unsteady on their feet.

The basement was well equipped but has the disadvantage of no windows with fresh air. I would not recommend sleeping there. The upstairs was very light, so it was light at dawn if you are a light sleeper. The sitting room sofa very comfortably sleeps 1 instead of the basement.

no handrail, no terrestrial tv channels, shutters couldn’t be used, lamp in living room didn’t work no outside space. somebody tried to let themselves in during the night.
