Better on the inside

We were made welcome by friendly staff in a bright spacious reception. The building was nothing special from the outside, but the inside is fresh modern and clean. The apartment was clean spacious and warm. The security is good and the building was very quiet. It's very easy to get to the cathedral and castle on foot. We were in the heart of Norwich, yet it was peaceful. The bed was king size in a small bedroom so it was a little snug getting to the far side, but the comfort was worth it. The kitchen living room was spacious with tea and coffee supplied and the bathroom was clean, with soap and towels.

I forgot to check for parking when I booked, so was surprised not to have a place to park, but someone directed us a little further along the road to a little carpark where we could pay to stay. We paid £10 for 24 hours parking. Not too bad really.

Home away from home in the centre of Norwich!

The welcome was warm and friendly, the location was excellent, the apartment had everything we needed for a weekend stay. It was ideal and I would definitely return if I were to come back to Norwich again.

No onsite parking but there is a very good NCP car park nearby

Great place to stay

Comfortable well equipped apartment super close to Norwich centre. Quiet location and the staff were excellent and very helpful. Comfy bed and great power shower.

Bathroom and furniture could have been a bit cleaner but it wasnt a massive issue. Shower cubicle could probably do with replacing but again it didnt hinder a good, decent priced place to stay

Excellent value for money in the centre of Norwich!

The property is well located near to the Cathedral. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our three night stay - the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and the bathroom was great - especially the shower. We took a small dog with us and she was also comfortable in the apartment. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was at night but this may have been because we stayed early in the week and not over a weekend! All in all we absolutely recommend Wellington Apartments as a basic but very good value for money place to stay!

Very minor but there was an air humidifier in the room that gave off quite a hum along with a sign asking for it not to be turned off. Not a deal breaker but light sleepers may struggle.

A pretty good location in Norwich. Not too far from the train station and only a block or so off the Main Street. Having the amenities of a studio was also nice (kitchen, washer, etc.)

Great location, very well kept and spacious apartments. Warm and comfortable to come back to.

The location was amazing right in almost the centre of Norwich only minutes walk from everything.

The place in general was very good, but one it was a little bit cold and there’s a lot of mould around the bath other than that great stay.

Very good value for momey and a friendly welcome as per usual. Comfortable and well provisioned.

The sink basin needed fixing as it didn't drain well, but not to the point of becoming a problem. Americans in the room across from us were extremely loud in the morning, but that's more of an international problem.

friendly receptionist - not great flat

very friendly receptionists, nice to see they were there 24/7.

our flat was on the lower ground floor, accessed via a long corridor that smells like a swimming pool. Two dehumidifiers on the corridor, one inside the flat (which cannot be unplugged day/night) to keep the humidly under control. The laminated floor in the flat is uneven, lifted by the humidity. The flat had just been cleaned I guess, by they had not rinsed the floors after cleaning them so they were sticky throughout the apartment. It's a shame, maybe flats on other floors offer a better experience. There are clearly tourists spending only one or two nights there, but also people renting for longer periods and I hope they have a nicer flat option.

Perfect location.

Location for train station and city centre was perfect as all within easy walk. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful and available 24 hours if needed. The apartment was clean and very well equipped with a really comfortable bed. We were here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked another visit here.

Hidden Norwich City Apartments

Great location very near to the Railway station and just behind Prince of Wales Road so a good central location with many local bus routes nearby to explore the greater Norwich city area. I had a cosy studio apartment on the 2nd floor with fully fitted kitchen including a washing machine if required!

They did offer earplugs as Prince of Wales Road notorious for nightlife but didn't need them

Lovely

The layout of the apartment, spacious living/dining/kitchen. The well equipped kitchen (even though I didn’t cook). The friendly and professional staff. They are very responsive and address queries or requests promptly. All you do is ask / feedback rather than wait to write a negative review. It’s a place that I won’t mind coming back to.

The only issue really is parking, we travelled along way with a van with equipment in fro having been doing a show up north of Macclesfield and had to park the van in another location which was a worry and dampened the trio a little for my partner as he was stressing about it the whole time!

Nice facilities for a family with kids. I got 2 cots and high chairs easily and facilities were very good.

Convenient city centre location close to the railway station

Wellington Apartments are very conveniently located a short walk from the Norwich rail station, and only a short walk to the Cathedral and then on to the city centre. The studio apartment had all the essentials for a comfortable, self-catering stay - a well designed and reasonably spacious room, comfortable mattress, well-equipped kitchen, good wifi, helpful info in the room and a friendly welcome from the Reception staff. We really appreciated the flexible left luggage service as well.

It took a very long time to get hot water for washing up or to run a bath. It would be safer to provide oven gloves for guests using the cooker or microwave. I didn't see a lift, so anyone unable to manage stairs would be advised to specify a ground floor room. I wish hotels would provide summer weight duvets rather than just winter weight all year round.

Very convenient location for the station and it was easy to walk into the city centre. Good size for a studio. Staff were very friendly and helpful and were there 24 hours. Bed was comfortable. Generally clean. Good for walkers. Good price.
