I understand that this property is an old building and it’s difficult to do some changes but our room (11) felt as if it was on a slope. The property felt very tired and dusty and the room quite cramped there was a small table that was of no use at all. We didn’t eat at the property. Very good central location. Would have preferred a room out the back as quite a lot of road noise.

Lovely, clean room reflecting the character of the hotel and bathroom was modern & contemporary. Despite being on the busy high street my room was quiet and I had a good night’s sleep, the bed was big and linen was lovely and crisp.
Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Excellent coffee served in the coffee lounge.
I will book again.

A beautiful, old hotel with beautiful architecture and wonky stairs. The staff were excellent. The rooms were well equipped, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, modern and spacious. It is in the centre of the town. Parking is available a little way away but thete is a paying carpark on the doorstep. Dinner was superb, breakfast was delicious.
