Beautiful views

Cleanliness of room was terrible. Dust and cobwebs everywhere in our room. Odour of boiled cabbages in the room. Creepy stuffed toys covered in cobwebs everywhere. Dead and alive flies everywhere. Bathroom fan so loud and screachy Overall the accommodation is not what I would consider to be luxury. It is dated, dirty and smelly.

Churchlands Bromyard

Dressing gowns for going along passage to bathroom. Lovely room for siting and a large room for breakfast on ground level. Host talked with us which we enjoyed Great view.

Flight of stairs in converted barn OK for us but we didn't check as we can manage Arrive in the daylight as BnB is down a lane and turn left.

Breakfast was lovely beautifully cooked, with cereal abd pastries etc. Swimming pool was great as was the hot tub, and the views were something special

Would have preferred downstairs bedroom because of my mobility issues but it had been taken. Also normally only go for ensuite bathroom but the bathroom on our floor was for our use only so fine

Lovely views over the countryside.

The pool was welcome on a hot day after a long drive.

Very difficult to find and needs “What 3 Words” address so that it can be found or some sort of direction sign from the narrow lane. The property and garden needs maintenance as does the wooden garden furniture. The bathroom isn’t en-suite and is over a first floor walkway across the open hallway.

Stunning location, lovely host...

Communication was exceptional and we were warmly welcomed. The setting is breathtaking and we both loved the design/ambience of the hosts home. It was wonderful to enjoy the pool and hot tub, breakfast was very generous with lots on offer.

I wouldn't say we 'didn't like' things but there are things to improve which our host spoke about and is aware of eg: maintenance and updating required. I didn't manage to get the shower past a trickle.

The double bedroom which we occupied was generally grubby, it appeared that the room had not been cleaned for some time.

Carol was a lovely host, very polite and helpful. The hot-tub was great and very relaxing!

We didn’t have a bad stay at church lands at all but it certainly requires some updating. Firstly, we did not use the pool as it was quite dirty. Showering after the hot tub (which was great), was an awful experience as there was near 0 water pressure and the bathroom as a whole needs completely updating. The pillows could do with some better investment. The Tv is mounted to the wall fitted facing the door, so we couldn’t watch anything.

Fantastic location. We were warmly greeted by Carol and she made us feel very welcome. My son loved the pool, and breakfast was yummy. The B&B is superb and the room had everything we needed. Carol and Terry even got my son a birthday card which I thought was such a lovely gesture. We will definitely be staying again.

Great short stay and the pool was a bonus on such a hot day

Great location ideal for walking and a getting away from it all. Carol was a lovely host providing a great breakfast to start the day. The shared lounge is very relaxing for the evening and the views from garden (nice patio) across the valley are stunning.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay there again.

This was a rural location and it suited us just fine. The panoramic view was spectacular with access to the garden and seating was perfect .The hostess was friendly, informative and provided excellent breakfasts in a lovely spacious and bright character dining room. The bedroom and en suite, although not huge, was comfortable and provided all that we required. The bonus was the use of a very comfortable and spacious lounge overlooking the magnificent views. Scrabble and chess games were laid out for use along with books and magazines plus a television. All very homely and comfortable. There was a swimming pool and a hot tub that we were not expecting but both very inviting. Plenty of parking.

Just a small thing , but we had difficulty pressing the button to flush the toilet. The mattress was soft for our choice but would be perfect for someone else.

Hidden gem with pool and hot tub, lovely location, plenty of safe parking, great breakfast!

Fantastic hidden gem! The room was very cosy and the view from the window in the morning with the sun rising was beautiful. The heated pool and hot tub was the icing on the cake for me too as I had a long day travelling in the car, a great way to unwind before bed. Probably the best full english breakfast I have had on my travels too, Carol nailed it!

It can be a little difficult to locate using the post code. Carol reached out to communicate better directions before I set off which really helped. The shower was a bit snug for me as I am 6'2 and quite a big guy but not the end of the world.

My friends and I had a great time staying at Churchlands, the facilities were wonderful and the owners we incredibly friendly! Breakfast was lovely too. We’d definitely come back!

Everything was perfect except the shower in our bathroom. It was difficult to make the water hot/cold and the pressure wasn’t fantastic.
