The breakfast was excellent, lovely fresh fruit salad and delicious bacon with scrambled egg. Jill was very helpful in recommending where we could have dinner, especially as one night was a Sunday. The house is a beautiful building with some magnificent period furniture, not immaculate but lived in and full of history. The view from the bedroom window was stunning.

The setting was beautiful and there was a very relaxed and welcoming feel to the place.
The shower room was carpeted so I was worried my son would ruin it! The shower stopped working but came back on after 5 mins. The pressure of the shower was great. This was a minor quibble only
