Had to swap arrival dates and table bookings for some of the party this was no trouble at all for the staff the pub is very busy and friendly with cosy open fire. we came for a family wedding and took all the rooms which are large. We had all the doors open as we were getting ready and making final decisions on outfits as the weather was so changeable which kept the toddler amused and hurrah full length mirrors plus plenty of others fabulous lighting for doing makeup and great open hanging space for all the clothes. All accommodation was on the first floor but wide outside steps so the 96 year old could be helped up . Bed linen and beds were lovely quality and comfort, different sizes of pillow on the bed so everyone happy. Breakfast was outstanding ingredients were so fresh and locally sourced. best sausage I have had for a long time and we are from Lincolnshire.

That I personally didn't get to eat an evening meal or the Sunday lunch but others in the party did and said it was very good.

An absolute gem just outside Ledbury. Everything a classic British pub should be!

Breakfast was cooked to order. Piping hot and very tasty. Plenty to eat. Staff were delightful. Nothing too much trouble. The dinner menu is pretty 'classic' pub grub, but quality is really good, and also served hot. The steak I had was exceptional!

Highly recommend The Oak Inn

The evening meal was exceptional, very tasty & good value. Breakfast was also lovely. Our room had a balcony overlooking the countryside, with a table and chairs. Our grand daughter stayed with us, and the room was plenty big enough for the 3 of us, with very comfy beds. The staff were all very friendly and gave us excellent service. If we go back this way sometime, we will definitely stay with them again.

Very pleasant stay in Herefordshire

Excellent choice for breakfast. Good choice for dinner too, the dog free restaurant was very pleasing. Staff were all very friendly and took time to make sure that we had everything we needed. The room was very spacious with a very large bed. Bathroom was well equipped.

Pity that the restaurant finishes serving food at 5pm on Sunday, but I am sure that the staff deserve a rest. My chicken and bacon pie didn’t have much bacon in it, but this is carping about little.

Good local pub with great atmosphere. Good menu choice - we had the ribs which were very good - and very staff. 10 minutes drive out of Ledbury but well located did getting around. This is our third time here. We’ll be back

Lovely little stopover..

The room was fantastic, super clean and very nice, bed comfy, Shower and bath excellent.. We had Gammon for evening Meal, out of this world for taste, loved it, Breakfast was also very nice.. Staff were great and very welcoming, certainly recommend..

There was nothing to dislike, apart from the rain but they can't fix that 🤣

Sunday lunch very good and a tasty breakfast. Great choice of real ales. Good location and very friendly staff making our stay very enjoyable and will return.

An absolute gem

If ever there was a reminder not to book with corporate hoteliers, the Oak Inn is it. It's simply not possible to deliver the incredible level of personal service that the Oak delivers in a 50+ facility. From the moment we arrived, we felt like returning family (even though it was our first visit). The warmth, decor and ambiance of the pub was immediately relaxing. the ease of check in and not having to complete admin after a long trip, was superb and being shown personally to the room was fantastic. The facilities in the room were excellent and cleanliness, temperature control etc of the highest order. We had a superb Dinner in the restaurant and great early breakfast spot we could get on road, all attended to with friendliness and knowledge by the owners. We will definitely be going back and could not have been more impressed.

There was literally nothing not to like, other than, not staying for longer and exploring the fabulous countryside, surrounding the Inn location.

Located away from main roads meant it was quiet. The room was exceptional with a large en suite bathroom with bath. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent quality.

Lovely stay, very good staff, good food

Breakfast very good, staff also well worth a positive mention all round a credit to the pub. Evening meal at the top end of a pub restaurant we enjoyed it. It is worth a mention that we stayed here three years ago and at that time the food was even better! Rooms have kept well and are comfortable, very clean whole place welcoming. This was a 69th Birthday treat and much enjoyed.

The rooms were lovely, a great place to stay- this was a return visit for me.

The male manager was very rude- he moved us from a table very abruptly as he said it was reserved fro the owners- this completely put a dampener on our stay . We felt very unwelcome.

Nice underrated country pub.

Relaxed attitude of the managers, a can do rather than a can't do mentality. So often lacking. Food is varied and nicely presented both the evening meal and breakfast.

A short stay that exceeded our expectations

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The menu was fairly described without a lot of hype. Not cheap but reasonably fairly priced. Breakfast whilst not excellent in choice (there was no fruit/yoghurt, limited cereals and fruitjuice) was nonetheless perfectly adequate. It was nicely presented and served reasonably quickly, so was perfectly adequate. The room was a good size and warm and the bed likewise was a good size and comfortable. All in all surpassed our expectations.(Not often I write that!)
