The thatched roof insulated us from the extreme heat and we were comfortable in our room. The secluded lotion meant a peaceful stay.
The fridge was too noisy and too small.
The overgrown garden meant we couldn’t sit out but the wildlife attracted was good to see.

The bedroom and bathroom were quite good and well appointed. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was adequate.
Unfortunately the property doesn’t look anything like the pictures. The gardens are completely overgrown and when we came back after eating out we had to make our way around the back of the property to get in. Avoiding an overgrown tree and weeds up to our waist. The pictures on booking.com are definitely not a true reflection of what the property looks like. Apparently the gardens have been left to encourage wildlife which is fine but that needs to be shown in the photos so people can decide what to do. Had I seen the house before booking I probably wouldn’t have booked it.

The room was okay although the wifi was very very weak. Breakfast was adequate.
The property photos on the Booking.com website are nothing like reality. The garden is now a jungle, absolutely everywhere. The path to access the “private door” going around the house is overgrown with vegetation so if it rains (it had) you get wet! It was also not apparent from the booking details that breakfast would be in the family’s kitchen. The previous reviews must be years old!
