Relaxing and beautiful accomodation

Beautiful location and excellent hosts. I booked this on behalf of my parents and when I dropped them off I wish I could have stayed! Cosy, clean and beautiful apartment. Walking distance to Loch Lomond Shore and walking distance to shops and getting on a cruise.

Absolute hidden gem

The accommodation is of the highest standard. Welcome pack on arrival. Situated in a lovely area, close enough to the local town. The owner was great and very welcoming. Will always try and book this place first when visiting the area.

A memorable stay in Loch Lomond

This place is absolutely beautiful, we felt that photos don’t do it justice: you really have to be there to appreciate how special it feels. The attention to detail shows how much thought the owner has put into making sure guests have a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed throughout our visit. It was lovely meeting Steve and chatting with him; he was welcoming and gave us some great local tips. The property is in a peaceful, quiet spot, yet it’s still within easy walking distance of Loch Lomond and nearby amenities. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and we look forward to being back in the future!

Amazing stay!

The apartment was absolutely perfect. Location is great and just a short walk to the Loch Lomond shores. Inside there is everything you need, the place was impeccably clean and the decor was great. Steve was a perfect host! We would absolutely stay here again if we were visiting Balloch

Spacious, beautiful flat in a great location.

This was an exceptionally well decorated flat in a fantastic location. Everything was designed very well. There is a set of wide and easy stairs but you can also leave all your coats and boots and extra luggage in the spacious entryway at the front door. This was a very comfortable stay overall.

This was the perfect place in the perfect location.

The location is perfect for getting round Loch Lomond. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Really can't fault the accommodation or the hosts. Loved the welcoming gizzits. Parking was not a problem and charging for EV's is catered for with Osprey chargers nearby although a tad on the expensive side. There were some free chargeplace Scotland chargers nearby but these were in constant use, understandably, and so could not get on them.

A cosy little bolthole close to Loch Lomond

A beautifully presented apartment in the quieter part of Balloch, with all the facilities you could need for a short or extended stay. The apartment was tastefully decorated and made good use of the space with a kitchen/sitting room area, bedroom and bathroom. The bed was particularly comfy! The complimentary goodies on arrival were also very thoughtful.

Lovely property, all the amenities, very cosy - excellent bed and clean with clear instructions on everything. easy to park and just generally a great place - loved the shwoer and bath - i was up for a fitness competition and at the end of two days of gruelling work it was so nice to come back for food and relaxation - its reallyc lose to amenities (scotmid 2 minute drive away and a macdonalds 1 minute drive away) or a short walk . i will absoltuly be looking to book this place next year if i qualify again for wotl!

the only feedback i have (and this isnt a fault of the property or anything hat can be done ) but just a slight warning - the ceilings are all sloped and i am 6ft1.5 inches - so you just have to be mindful of that - bumped my head a coupel of times (my partner had no issue) but if youa re super tall just give yoruself some clearance towards the outer edges of the roomsagain thisis completely my own stupidity but i feel like i should warn other people

High quality, clean and very comfortable

Lack of instructions re disposal of garbage/recycling and incomplete instructions regarding us of TV, but these were no more than minor inconveniences and did not detract from our stay

Location was great . This is a really attractive apartment and has everything you need and It is really clean.There was plenty of space for two people more than the photos suggested .Temperature was easy to control , heating was very responsive . Bed was super comfortable and great if you have a tendency to back pain .

Not a big deal but the shower got a bit slippery when wet , a little rub mat would solve that :-) ......Everything else was perfect

Highly recommended comfortable 'home from home' apartment

We've stayed at the BurnHowf previously and it is perfect for us; secluded and secure in its own grounds, ample parking, lovely gardens and 2 mins from Loch Lomond. The apartment is a great size, really comfortable, clean and warm with all the rooms a great size. Highly recommended.

The location is perfect for exploring the area, both by car and on foot. Steve was prompt in replying to messages and a pleasure to chat to. The apartment was super clean and had everything we could have possibly needed, we felt comfortable and at home there.

property was fantastic real home from home. hosts were very friendly and informative about the local area apartment was very comfortable and spacious. the scones on arrival were just what the dr ordered. lovely tranquil gardens to have morning cuppa and a short walk away from all amenity’s such as the bird of pray centre and sea life centre.
